Don't be intimidated by all the stuff happening its not that complicated just look past the visual effects and its really simple and fun.

Fun game got a good 50+ hours out of it although could just me but I have struggled to beat not even the highest difficulties and I seem to feel weak to AI as they grow much faster than me, but havent ventured too far into the mods none the less my 2nd favorite 4X game

Seems to have some issues with new leaders coming in but they are very fun dont be deterred, if you are on a windows operating system it is very fun

This game is limited to its campaign and unique weekly challenges it just feels like a downgrade compared to the its previous games orcs must die 2 is a much better choice than 3
