A good Monster Hunter game. Not my personal favorite, but it is up there.

As much as I love the concept of this game, I cannot recommend it- the inputs feel too unresponsive with CPUs that feel like they blatantly cheat if you go any higher than Lv4.

The character editor feels far too complex for the average user and has too much on screen, making looking at the editor feel like information overload. Also, what the game doesn't tell you is that there is a sprite size limit (a fact I only found out about after joining the Discord server and checking its channels).

Decided to refund the game until I hear that most of the issues I have with the game are fixed- namely the unresponsive inputs and making the character editor easy enough for a beginner to use and understand without the UI giving information overload or at least make it so that the game has easy-to-follow tutorials in-game one can follow and replay to their leisure without needing to go to YouTube or some external source.

I have used VRoid Studio for the longest time, and was heavily excited for the Stable, but it is funny they call it a Stable when there are more issues now than when it was in the last Beta version. Lack of a Dark Mode (R.I.P. People trying to use VRoid Studio in dimly lit places or those who have more sensitive eyes), reports of bodies disappearing under custom clothes, and the UI is cluttered and overmodernized which makes it no longer user-friendly like before. Until these oversights are fixed, I recommend going and downloading Beta v0.14.0 instead if you really want to use VRoid Studio. Once these are fixed, I will adjust this review accordingly.

EDIT 12/30/21: Dark Mode was recently added and the whole disappearing bodies thing was on me. My complaints about the overall UI still stand though. Still keeping it as a No for now because there is no inbetween of Yes or No here on Steam.

I loved this game and the DOOM IP in general, but with this update adding the anti-cheat? Yeah, no- I would rather have the $90 I spent on Digital Deluxe back than deal with something that has that much of a security risk to the only computer I own.

Hate to say it, but as a long-time Doom fan having played almost all of the Dooms from 1993 and on, until DAC is removed, this is one Doom I recommend skipping.

Love the game despite any bugs I may come across. Looking forward to speed running it.

Love this game (ignore the playtime- I've played this much longer on 3DS and Android engine ports), but like everyone else suggests, I recommend downloading GZDoom and using that as your launcher for the Steam version.

This was fun for the little time I used it, but once I found out that key features (ie: character creator, etc) that any game creator needs to not seem like "just another non-unique game maker" you had to pay to actually use in your projects, I quickly went to uninstall this. This was another case of "a good idea executed poorly". If you have to PAY just to use key features, you are just better off buying one of the RPG Makers by Kadokawa instead, like RPG Maker MV. Unless the key features stop being paid DLC, just ingore this program and look for an alternative (like my previously mentioned RPG Maker MV). Definitely would not recommend this unless the key features stop being DLC.
