In my opinion, this is the best Simcity game, and this is attributed almost entirely to the phenomenal soundtrack, but it's also still just as fun to plan and build cities as its always been!
Seriously though, that soundtrack. I hope you like jazz.

The battles system is really cool and fun, and fast paced, the mechanics are pretty interesting, and it's just so cool being able to evolve and devolve digimon to learn different moves!
The main story is also pretty good, but the translation work is sadly pretty bad and a lot of the side missions aren't very fun. Also a lot of the mechanics are sadly not too well-explained.
BUT, if you want a fast paced and satisfying turn-based RPG, you really can't do much better than this game! I've recommended it to many friends!

Early Access Review
This game is incredibly addictive. This game has so many different gameplay loops and all of them work together in a highly satisfying way - The monster collecting isn't just "another thing" on top of crafting, base building and exploration, the ability to have them work at your base, each with unique and charming animations and abilities make the hunt for them even more rewarding than just the joy of finding something new!

And I will touch briefly on the design controversy only to say this: There is no Pokemon that even come close in terms of pure charm than Foxparks and Chillet. Not one. In that sense, these designs almost feel more like Digimon to me.

So, I give this game a massive thumbs up, but DO keep in mind, you will encounter some bugs as you would expect from an early access game. But it feels so fresh, despite being all old concepts in idea, it doesn't even bother me truthfully.

This is a promising new direction for the Sonic series! I only hope it can take this foundations and build well off of it.
The gameplay loop is great, the story is surprisingly good for a serious attempt at a darker Sonic Story.
This game is by no means perfect, the story is good but sometimes the individual dialogue lines aren't too good, and some parts of the story feel so poorly explained, and sometimes the movement feels a little off. Also, outside of some DLC stuff, all the base game content is a bit too easy for my liking.

But I really do recommend this game, it's very solid and there's lots to see and explore!

This is the best Sonic game in decades. Sonic has had a lot of ups and downs over the years, but this game should be a moral for everyone, including SEGA themselves: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
And I'm saying this as someone that still loves most of the the 3D games.

It's a great, fun game to play, especially for a couple hours a day. Menus are a bit too overcomplicated though, and give the game an unnecessary learning curve.
