Expected lude fanfic based on the name Sonic X Shadow, got one of the best Sonic games I've ever played instead. A little dissapointed that Sonic and Shadow never hook up, but it's worth the price I guess...

If I had a nickel for every dating sim I've played that is also a deliberate satire of dating sims while using its context to subvert expectations through a meta mystery while still being genuine enough that it would pass as a love letter to dating sims, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Got this game for free and based on the name and store page I would probably never play this game. Still I ended up loving it and all I can say without spoiling anything beyond its store page is: Go in with an open mind and remember that there are 14 endings before you brush off the game.

This game walked so Doki Doki could run.

At start it seems like fun. A Free 2 Play PUBG with some added bells and whistles. Then you get familiar with the game and realize that this is one of the worst Battle Royales that exist. Horrible connection as in you have no idea of who they prioritize. The amount of times you go down a second after you knocked down the same person who knocked you is astonishing. Connecting bullets and melee hits always feels slightly off and weird. A guy swung a bat 2 meters away from me and I went down with full health 3 seconds after the swinging animation finished. The creme de la creme is that that very bat is something only available to people willing to shell out 20 euros. This game is loaded with microtransactions, all of them unfair. It's a free 2 play, sure it has microtransactions, but Fortnite is Free 2 Play as well and they made billions of cosmetics. The bat is not a cosmetic, it comes with other stats that are stronger than your default knife. You can buy characters with better abilities, but clothes with slight stat boosts, not to mention if you are a person who doesn't like looting you can always just buy a flare gun to start the game with (You shoot it in the sky and it drops down rare and top tier loot always). I want to love this game, but it's like trying to love a chocolate cake with beautiful icing filled with ♥♥♥♥. It looks like something you would enjoy, but then you cut a slice and disgusting ♥♥♥♥ pours out, yet you force yourselves to take a bite every time you press the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play button. To sum up, this is the game that would give Tencent a raging hard on!

Every decision they made in this game is killing the Boost formula. Sega or Sonic Team is too high on nostalgia that they don't care about fine tuning Sonic's gameplay, but rather see how many nostalgic elements they can shove in. Over 40 stages, yet the game takes about 4 hours to complete all of them with little to no replay value besides unlocking clothing for your avatar. The game never tells you what you will unlock either so say there is an article of clothing you do want to grind for, you can't. Just do the most lazy and repetitive missions you'll ever find in a video game until you find the piece of clothing you do want. Every "reward" or collectible is just filler. Rings don't do anything, red rings gives you more stages (although the stages is all 2D quickly put together blocky "challenges" that all last under a minute), numbers don't do anything and silver moons don't do anything.

Because of the limited gameplay mechanics, the restrictive linear level design and the poor rewarding system, there is little to no reason to come back to this game after you beat it. In other terms only about 4 hours of content "worth" playing. I completed this game as well and got all the achievements, but all I was forced to was grinding. Besides some difficult time trials, there was nothing that kept me engaged and I could complete it in the background while watching videos online or doing other things outside of the game to entertain myself. One of the achievements is to collect 100 000 rings which basically forces you to replay one stage over and over again. The rings being the perfect analogy for the game as there is an overabundance of rings in every stage, but since there are infinite lives and no shops to spend the rings on all they do is contributing to a ranking system that already is too easy.

If you are like me and like boosting games or 3D Sonic in general, then you will have some enjoyment from your first playthrough, however when you try to replay it you will just be consumed by the game's many flaws and missed opportunities. For any other fans of platformers looking to get into Sonic games I could easily recommend other titles that does a better job of easing you in and keeping you engaged from start to finish. On Steam though, the best option would most likely be Sonic Generations. This game's saving grace and the reason I have more than 15 hours on this game is because of how easy it is to download mods and interact with fans content that tries to capitalize on all of the missed opportunities. The charm of creating Avatars did also surprisingly boost my enjoyment of the game, even though I never had an interest in the large "devian art create your own OC" community. In the end, all I can do is guarantee that it will at least be a mediocre experience for a very specific part of the Sonic and platformer community-

Recommend this game to all zombie fans. A complete must have. It has great synergy between the games mechanics. I have rarely come across a game this well crafted. The controlls for this game can be a bit outdated, and the survivor AI will frustrate the hell out of you. Still, you can get used to the controlls. The survivor AI still is a pain in the ass if you are tryng to do a perfect run or going for achievements, however for casual playthroughs the AI doesn't really matter that much.

Not recommended for people who does not like or have not played similar games before. It can be somewhat complicated for new comers to the Dead Rising franchise. People have complained about the difficulty. I didn't find it that much challenging for normal playthroughs, but then again I did play every other Dead Rising game before this one so I guess I was somewhat used to the tactics of the game. Definitely not an introductionary game though.

This is arguably the best call of duty to date. It depends wether or not you are a Treyarch fan or Infinity Ward fan. Most fans of Call Of Duty say Modern Warfare is the best one, but I always was more keen on Treyarchs version of COD. Dont get me wrong, I know that COD MW innovated alot and changed the multiplayer to the better and that their campaign were a thrill. I also know that COD MW also changed the genre, but when it comes to the best of the best I would say that this game is the best... of the best.

The campaign is special and unique. I havent seen anyone else do the COD campaign like that. It got me interested from begining to end as it isnt just a war story about a soldier (as most call of duty games) but it also involves conspiracy theories, phsyciatric challenges and monkeys. Okey, the last one is not as important, but I am serious about the other things and really believe that this is the best campaign. Maybe that has to do with the setting. I fell in love with the cold war (not as in I liked the cold war, but more as in I like the story behind it). The only COD game that isnt modern/futuristic or about the second world war. I kinda hope it stays that way, because they did a good job and I dont really think they could make it better. I have heard rumors about Sledgehammer making a game set during the cold war and I hope its false. Would be nice to make a game that is set in the past, but make it about something else. Give us something new (and as most cod players mean with something new, give us more content dont change up the mechanics). To get back on track, the campaign is something that you have to try out for your self.

The multiplayer was also pretty great. It stayed fast paced with memorable maps, nice weapon balancing and fun game modes. The perks werent too bad either, although I will admit that "second chance" perk was a bad one. Luckily most servers on PC has banned that perk. Killstreaks return and all of them serve a purpose. There is more focus on party modes and that is always fun. I really enjoy what they did with cod points. No, Im not talking about the latest version of cod points where you actually have to spend money on it. Im talking about the in-game currency that you use to unlock camoes, weapons, attatchements and of course face paint. You could play wager matches and gamble your money to maybe win more money. Those matches were intense, but no other COD game has tried to replicate it. It is a Black Ops only experience.

While the multiplayer and campaign were exeptional in COD MW, the game still lacked a memorable and fun coop mode. Well, COD BO steps up their game with continuing on COD Zombies. The problem with COD BO2 and COD BO3 is that the maps are made for zombie fans. You might think that im weird for complaining about them making maps for the zombie fans, but what I mean is that the maps in those games were not casual friendly. I enjoyed the maps in those games, even my favourite zombie maps comes from those games, but I am a COD Zombies fan. I have an interest in it and I am patient enough to learn the maps. However, anyone who isnt like me will have a problem figuring out what is going on and what to do. The last maps are all about objectives. The steps you have to take just to pack-a-punch in those games are completely bonkers (yes I used the word bonkers to describe it). Playing public on those maps are so hard. You just have to hope that you meet a player that is also a zombie fan. For a casual game like COD, the maps in BO2 and BO3 were so so amazingly not casual that people just stuck to multiplayer and then got bored. I understand why they would complain too. COD is a 3 for 1 deal. You get multiplayer, campaign and coop. When you only get multiplayer and campaign, you can feel a little bit scammed. Like it wasnt worth the money. In this game they manage to keep the maps casual while also adding easter eggs, story and tricks for the Zombie fans. So a zombie expert could have just as much fun as a casual player.

All in all, the game is good and I completely recommend it. If you like Call Of Duty, then you wont be dissapointed. Buy this game. The only complaint about the pricing is the DLCs. They can be expenisve, so just buy them on sale. There are no seasonpass on PC so make sure that you wait for the right time to buy them all. The DLCs is mainly for people who are interested in zombies. You dont need it either. You still got 3 fun zombie maps without it. At last, I do know it says that I have 3 hours on this game, but I played it a lot on console before switching to PC. I bought it again on steam because I just had to have this masterpiece in my steam library. Either way, I doubt that you will actually read all of this so Im basically talking to myself at this point. Just buy it and try it. You wont regret if you are a fan of the series.

Edit: I have now many more hours into this game since I decided to revisit the game. I can tell you that I still stand by everything I have said in this review and it makes me recommend it even more.
