At first I wasn't sure about getting this game, especially during Early Access, but after watching Yuma Yumano and friends play the game on stream a few times, I got curious enough I decided to give it a try. So far it's been an excellent experience, faithfully adapting the Gloomhaven board game while also including ease of play and quality of life improvements I definitely appreciate. I wholly recommend it to anyone who enjoys board games of this nature, and cheers to Azmodee for their work in the conversion.

Game suffers from a recurrent glitch where I cannot under any circumstances proceed from the fourth chapter. I have followed every source of advice on correcting this glitch I can find and it persists. A glitch this game breaking at this juncture in a game's update cycle should not still be occuring, and sours the entire gameplay experience, which is not all that strong to begin with.

Surprisingly compelling and enjoyable for such a simplistic concept. There are a few minor gripes I have here or there regarding the outcome of the game, but all in all it was a fun story to play through and simple without losing the actual game aspect of an Interactive Fiction Game. Basically, if you enjoyed the Lone Wolf or Fighting Fantasy series despite the frequent nonsensical deaths rather than because of them, this is a game you'll like. Good value for the money.
