A very fun twist to the Vampire Survivors-type game, with good progression

This game is amazing. The new Banished

Despite being with the company since the beginning of the Total War series and shelling out full-game money for what are essentially variations of the same game engine, I will no longer be investing in this product line or the company. It's not enough for them to charge for DLC content upgrades, to stay up to date, you're going to have to pay the cost of an entirely new game.

Bought the season pass during the Steam summer sale of 2019. Very much worth it. A lot deeper than PlanetBase - on par with Banished when the really good mods are enabled.

This game sums up everything it means to represent as an Asian

Very nice game. Comparing this against the genre standard, Civilization V, I find this to be more fun and less of a micro-management headache when your empire starts to sprawl. The different empires have vastly different play-styles and your fation selection has a very large bearing on how you play the game. The graphics are fantastic with a decent sound-track. Both graphics and end-turn computations scale better than Civ5 as your empire grows.

For those of you old enough to remember "Master of Magic", this game has a touch of that as well.
