Program Crashes every 2-5 mins. After attempts to fix it, i found that this has been an unfixed issue for over 3 years.

(Revised review after game updates and more play time)
When I started playing there was not enough content and the game felt like a grind fest. I was stuck at level 13 with no quests or public events around my level. There is still not much for group content except 2 small overworld "dungeons". Since then the Devs have added more quests to help with the gaps in quests to level up.

I'm happy to see they are focusing on bug fixes and building a strong foundation before just adding content that you wouldn't be able to play if they didn't work on the bugs first.

There are still ALOT of bug tho, like:
-Some godstone major upgrades don't do anything. (obsidian shroud)
-Some godstone major upgrades are always active reguardless if you spent point in it. (Dyad)
-Godstone upgrades don't save after logging off and on. (known by devs)
-One of the blade master godstones have no upgrades at all.
-The equipment perk "Shell" does nothing.
-Some of the collectible tears around the world, are hidden under the terrain and you have to glitch yourself inside to get it (yet devs say if you exploit you'll be banned, but you have to glitch yourself into rocks in the emerald desert get one of the tears.*shrugs*)

I do see alot of potential and hope this game works out.

Things i would like to see:
At the moment, there isn't enough inventory space, and waiting for a "player housing chest" would take too long, a simple NPC banker with a 2nd inventory to access would be a quick way to help that until player housing is up.
It's sad that you can't place any level of gear into the cosmetic slots if you like the look of it. that would be a nice feature.
At the moment the quality of food you make is meaningless, so just burn all the food and you get the same buff, i would make it so trash level food give half buff, good is normal, and perfect gets a bonus.

Overall the devs seem to be taking it in the right direction, and for that reason i'd recommend this game.

Enemies and wild animals just appear inside my walls or teleport through them and wipe out my base every 10 mins... in a game that's all about building bases....

Looks and plays like a really fun game, but the game it WAY too difficult. Playing on beginner difficulty, try every single starting point, can barely make it to 10 days without either; 1, having enough troops to fight, but rewards don't pay enough to pay for their wages or the food they eat. or 2, getting destroyed in every fight because i don't have enough troops, and for some reason every single one of my attacks does about 30% of their health in damage, and they 1 shot my guys.... this is on beginner difficulty...

This is a great game, so much fun, and worth every penny. Can't wait to see what else they add to it.

Oh god the story is so bad, and everything feels so forced. Especially how 95% of the "in-power" character are all female. Claptrap(duh), Lilith(unlikable due to her story with creating handsome jack and murdering Vault Hunters from the pre-sequal, so there is no emotional attachment to her from me), Ellie, Underwear guy(side kick, on pandora), Tyreen and her brother(can't remember his name cuz he barely ever speaks, shes the only one that radios you through the main story(so far)), Marcus(some sidequests), Moxi, Coffee girl(main quest giver on 2nd planet), Zero(with you for 2-3 fights), then Maya(main quest giver of the 3rd planet?) i stopped playing at that point. I'm going back to play Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Imo, Save your money and don't be disappointed.

If you like Logistics games like Factorio, I think you will like this. But the number 1 thing I love about this game, at the time of writing this review, the game has been out for 14 days.... and there has been 14 updates to the game. It's awesome to see it constantly being worked on.

The previous lighting issue with the game have been fixed, and now you no longer have disadvantage on every attack in dim light, nice. So I tried out the game again, going through the first cave area, and one of my "essential" followers dies... standing right next to my cleric... With cure wounds and healing word... BUT... No death saving throws... instantly dead. Revivify spell needed. If the NPC is essential, why do they die instantly? The game is advertised as trying to "stay true to the tabletop experience". And I understand not everything will translate perfectly into a video game, but no Death saving throws, really?

Good aspects to the game I like: Honestly the combat is fun, and I personally love the dialog. The dialog is just the right amount of cheesey DnD style dialog. I can actually visualize players sitting behind the characters and saying these things. I personally find that to be a great touch. The combat flows very nicely with pauses at the right moments to use reaction abilities. And I can now sneak around and set up for a nice ambush surprise round.

Things that left me disappointed: I've not gotten very far in the game, so I don't know if the game opens up more, but from what I've played so far it's very... on rails, when you have to go somewhere.. it's the only place you CAN go. No freedom. No side quests that aren't already on the same path. maybe I've not gotten far enough to the point where I get options of where to go and what to do first, I don't know.
The limited Classes and Races are a bummer, missing sorc, warlock, barbarian, and bard, and no gnome or half-orc. and some may argue that it's the world of Solasta, but there isn't even a replacement for them. No race has a +2 in STR nor is there one with a +2 in INT, so Rogues and Rangers and Paladin get that advantage. And in what Fantasy universe is there no such thing as a barbarian? lol

Overall it's not a bad game, but frustrating going into the game with the 5e ruleset in my head(as it was advertised that way) only to be slapped in the face every now and again, cuz it's not.
