Fantastic game. Fantastic story telling. There's an option for almost everything that I want to do. The fact this game isn't finished yet and I can put so many hours into it amazes me. If you like the eerie feeling of Slay The Princess and the writing of it, Black Tabby brings it once again, and yet in a very different game. And now I will play through what has been released for a third time, because I know things will be different once again.

The best writing you have seen in a Sonic game ever. They did the absolute best choice they could have by having Ian Flynn head the writing on this game. The speed of the game is great, though it's possible to go too fast. Maybe don't upgrade your speed level super high? Or do if you want to be Chaotic-Speed. It is exactly as advertised: Sonic in an open world. Rails, speed pads, and springs all around without being overly cluttered. Enough combat that you can easily choose to engage in or not, and HOLY the soundtrack is a banger and half. If you ever wondered how it feels to play a shonen anime look no further than the boss fights in this game. Does the game have some problems? For sure. As many as every other game I've ever played. It's not a perfect game, but it's fun and delivers on everything it's advertised to be.
If you like Sonic content in any form, this game is a 100% must.
