The Final Fantasy VII of my adult life.

Went in for a wank. Came out with enough tears to kayak to work tomorrow.

A damn masterpiece.

I absolutely loved the music and the bartending. The writing in this game is absolutely fantastic.

I grew up on point-and-click adventure games so this really brought me back to my childhood. Recommended.

Absolutely incredible

This game is sweet. A lot of other people are bashing the game because of the pay 2 win and grind, but check this out:

You will be able to unlock almost every class of soldier and also a good majority of the guns and special upgrades in around 100 hours of gameplay.

As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't want to pay because moving up the ranks is really fun. You can be a tank driver pretty quick as it's the first class you can unlock. It's true that you have to pay for ammo and also for rockets, etc. But even with paying for all that, you're still looking at around 100 hours to unlock most of what you want.

The real secret to this game is sound. If you use headphones or a surround sound system, you don't need great guns to win. You just need to drive real crazy (so the snipers can't hit you) and listen for guys around outside and anticipate them entering while you capture objectives. I've made easily over 100 melee kills and you HARDLY EVER see anyone use melee weapons so you just have to know how much sound you're making and also you need to know when to fight inside and when you go outdoors. Grenades and melee are VASTLY under-used in this game. You need to get used to switching weapons and being very tactical - this is not Call of Duty. This is the game that people play who don't like people who play Call of Duty.

I would say this is DEFINITELY the best free to play game out there.

Some people in their reviews forget that these people who make this game have to feed themselves and their families. I might spend some money for this game JUST TO SUPPORT THE DEVS, but I actually do not need to spend any money at all.

I would say about 80% of games I am in the top 10 (out of 15-18) and I would say I am top of the board about 20% of the time. I have been playing FPS games for about 20 years, but I would not really consider myself THAT good. I'm just REALLY REALLY aggressive. If you like to be terrifically aggressive then you will not need to spend any money.

That said, games with a LOT of snipers really do suck. And you can't leave a game once you start one and go join another. You are locked into that game until the battle ends.

And as for the hackers: OH MY GOD.......................................

This is what happens:

Someone gets shot and they immidiately say:

"OMG HACKERS EVERYONE HACKS BECAUSE I WAS KILLED RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRWOAIURHY*WYRQW#YWQY:R%QYHR%BQY%QY%QY#*%Y*Q%YB:#Q%*Y#QN%*B:YQN%*BYQN%*BY#QN%*YBN#Q*%YBNQ#%B*QB*Y%B*YB#*BY*B#Q"

Seriously. I've imagined like dozens of times how I know the other team says the EXACT SAME STUFF ABOUT ME WHEN I GUN THEM DOWN OUT A WINDOW. I don't hack because I think it ruins the game. But I have probly been called a hacker 32452435 times by the other team. The reason why I don't know though is because currently this game ONLY supports team-chat. You can't chat at all to the opposing team.

I have only one confirmed experience with a hacker: It was like 3 AM EST and I was laying down and had not moved at ALL (no sound). Then all the sudden, FROM OUTSIDE THE HOUSE I WAS IN, someone gunned me down THROUGH THE WALL and knew exactly where I was. That guy was hacking like CRAZY. Besides that I have no 100% confirmed hacking experiences.

I've been playing FPS games my whole life and this game reminds me a lot of the ORIGINAL Battlefield 1942. It's basically exactly the same game. Like Operation Flashpoint. You can crouch, go prone, drive planes, drive APCs, drive tanks, etc.

You have to be quiet, stay out of sniper fire, drive like a psycho and dodge tanks - people always make a big deal out of tanks but you seriously can just drive around them most of the time.

The people who play this game are generally clueless. Don't expect ANY coordination or help from anyone. Expect them to be lost in the woods for the sniper that killed them 20 minutes ago while all your points are being captured and you are being crushed by tanks and snipers.

If you can get some friends and get on Teamspeak, this game REALLY shines. You can create an infantry group of 6 people. You can stay well coorindated and drive together in a vehicle. When you do something like this you are literally unstoppable because no one else in the game is generally coordinated. This style of playing is some of the most fun I have EVER HAD playing video games - which is a big statement, I know. It's the truth - uncomprehendable amounts of fun.

I would HIGHLY recommend this game and I would even go so far as to say, as long as you are emotionally stable and won't cry and slit your wrists over a sniper you can't find, you will absolutely love this game.

I have a BEAST computer and the game doesn't run so well. You have to get used to a poor framerate but I don't think it takes away from the action too much. You could run 4 Titans SLI and 2 8-cores water-cooled and you may still only get 30 frames per second. Not sure what to say about that. It's beta and it's one of the areas that really show it's beta-ness.

And I recommend that, even though you really don't need to spend any cash, you should to support this game and to support it continuing to grow and expand.

When the beta is complete, this may be one of the best FPS games out there in my opinion. It's really fantastic.

Would uninstall again

When you buy this game play the level Crossroads on Deathwish difficulty.

"Deathwish" is really a lie and the level is really easy. It will give you a lot of money and experience.

It's a good way to go in order to get a healthy gradient approach to the game. You don't want to dive in all at once, you know?

Amazing. Incredible. Mind-blowing. If you liked Fallout 1&2 and you liked the old-school Shadowrun of the Genesis, then this is a no-brainer. The expansion (Dragonfall) is also a full-length game that took me just as long as the original to complete. Many of the imperfections of the original were handled in the Dragonfall expansion. This goes in my top-ten list of best games of my generation.

This game is amazing. The ending is also amazing
