I bought this when it first came out. I'm a huge cyberpunk fan (hence the Shadowrun pic in my profile). Thought it was honestly pretty horrible. Janky fighting mechanics and I wound up just uninstalling it.

Then I heard that it got fixed so I tried again and bought the expansion. Wow, I was blown away. I started out, first time through the game, on the 2.13 patch and I have also recently upgraded to a RTX 4090.

I didn't even touch the main story line until maybe 80 hours in. Truly blew me away and had me entirely engrossed. Haven't felt like this in years about a game.

Big thumbs up. Highly recommended. I agree that they really did a great job turning this game around and turning it into something incredible.

I played it a bit. It's pretty cool.

But I'll pay hundreds of dollars just to support how crazy it is in relationship to TWO PEOPLE MAKING IT.

Any two individuals putting together something that pushes the boundries this hard is worth MANY HUNDREDS from me.

I'm playing and the gunshots peak out horribly, so I think "well I'll go turn down the volume of gunshots."

I go into audio settings and it says basically "gunshots are loud in real life. You think they sound all crisp and clear in real life you FU$KIN P$SSY?"

I just sit there in self-evaluation. Am I a horrible person? Have I been too harsh on the veterans in my past? Should I call my great-grandfather?

This game is truly revolutionary and just being a part of it is an honor. People giving this a harsh review are COMPLETELY UNABLE TO SEE POTENTIAL IN ANYTHING IN LIFE.

This is big. Not just big... this is NARRATIVE-CHANGING. This is a game by two dudes.

IN FULL DISCLOSURE, I HAVE AN RTX 4090.

Everything about this game is fascinating... even the fact that it is free and there is merch in Spencer's Gifts. Just shows you what can happen when a game is entirely born out of the mind of an artist rather than degraded into something that can be immediately commercialized. Amazing how something that was never intended to be sold still ends up effecting the world and making money for the owner. Like spiritual physics.

If you aren't much of an animal person, the bats in this game will justify your existence.

Knowing that only 2 devs made this literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece gives me hope for the human race.

I'm well into the game and I've been able to deal with all the crashes so far but now whenever I travel to literally any other area, despite trying to mess with it to get around the crashes, it looks like I'm screwed and going to need to stop playing. Too bad because the game is awesome.

Ummm... why is no one saying Clock Tower on this game? This game SCREAMS Scissorman. Love this game and love the different settings for video. Have no idea how I even found this game but as a HUGE Clock Tower fan (original), this game hits a spot that reminds me of Clock Tower for PS1 mixed with Silent Hill (the original). Glorious.

Literally one of the best games I have ever played. Took a VERY high bar and somehow did as good if not better. Impressive when trying to improve the literal perfection of my childhood.

Incredible. I absolutely loved it. I had to pull the difficulty down to have some semblance of sanity.

Frightening and fantastic. I loved it.
