Fun game. Neat atmosphere. Lots of stuff to do. Pretty balanced as far as difficulty goes. Threats are consistent and the game allows the player to learn from their mistakes and move forward. Interested to see what this developer releases in the future!

Well, going off of my experience in the first chapter, the game is definitely unique. I've only ever seen the "Horror Pac-man" mechanics used in one other game and Dark Deception definitely stood out to me. The enemy models are very memorable and well-designed. I played the game on 'high' graphics settings (and I'd like to think I have a med-end PC) and the game ran pretty smoothly with minimum frame-drops - even with a few recording software programs running on the same PC. It's pretty well optimized and it looks great! Visuals are definitely a step up from the original demo from 2014, and I was very pleased to see that there are graphics settings (unlike the 2014 demo iirc). It'd be cool to be able to tweak graphics settings a little more specifically (ie: shadows, post processing, etc.) instead of the low, med, high, very high settings. The overall audio engineering is fantastic. The music, voice acting and sound effects all stand out and I feel like I could definitely tell the game is Dark Deception if someone blindfolded me and played the game. The animation was also very well done, you guys have a great team at work here.

All that being said, my opinion may be a bit biased from comparison to the original demo. This build absolutely blows that one away in every aspect except for difficulty. The original demo was way more difficult for me. I'm not sure if the plans are to expand mechanics in the game and have different things happen in different chapters, or if the plan is to continue the "Horror Pac-man" maze thing - but I would love to see a variety of mechanics and enemies for each chapter in the future. I feel like a repetition of the same thing for (I didn't count, but there are a lot of them) all the chapters would probably grow stale after a while. I love the 'arcade' style of the game and would love to see maybe some difficulty settings added to it, maybe a hard mode in the future? I may have gotten lucky this time, looking at the other reviews. It seems a lot of people are getting cornered by the monkeys like I did in the original game. I enjoyed this very much and would highly recommend it to anyone. I'm very happy with the outcome of this project so far and can't wait to see more in the future!

I've been a huge fan of the Timore series for a while now, and this expansion definitely lived up to my expectations. It had the classic "Timore" feel of a creepy ambience backed by sudden loud noises and jumpscares. The dev is definitely good at what they do. Looking forward to more installments in the series!

Oh, I did a pretty unique let's play of this (yeah, I know, another one) with no commentary, but with face cam. I feel like some of you may find it as an interesting take.
