Night in the woods presented a relatable yet spectacular narrative. It may have a slow beginning, but it serves a purpose and gives you time to have more mundane experiences, making the world feel a lot more real. Overall the characters are the strongest part of the game, I found myself very invested in so many of the characters, which only made me enjoy the events that they took part in throughout the game even more.

Dark Souls brought me frustration, obsession, joy, and even relief as I tackled it on and off over the past year and a half. It has been with me through the good and bad times, either offering me a challenge when I'm feeling on top, or bringing an inspiration to keep going even at my most depressed. The gameplay is excellent, although some areas leave to be desired. The port itself is subpar, leaving much of the online functions to be spotty at best, but that isn't to say that you'll never be able to join other players. If you are looking for a challenge, or even just want to see what the hype is about I would certainly recommend picking this up.
