it good, ignore naysayers

While everything about this game seems like it should work, it misses everything in almost every mark. The gameplay is very predictable and same-y throughout the entirety of it, and while other games of this type (Destiny 2) are also very same-y, they have a sense of atmosphere that Avengers simply lacks. If you've ever played Breath of the Wild, the way shrines in that games are all the same atmosphere, its like that for all the missions I've played in this game, except instead of a magical sense of atmosphere, it feels uninspired within this game. It's not a bad game, but I wouldn't claim it as great either. It's serviceable. If you want to play a Avengers story, it's adequate, but you aren't going to get anything too crazy. The story itself is also very predictable and easy in almost all aspects. The game needed way more focus on the single-player campaign, as while the multiplayer is surely fun with friends, the Avengers in modern context is always about its story and crazy scenarios, and this just seems like giving Marvel fans the bare minimum required. The RPG mechanics also are very generic. The most creative thing this game has going for it is what it COULD do and be, but what it is right now is similar to the original Destiny's initial launch.

Game's overall just fun to play, with an enjoyable story.
