Never played before late 2024 so I understand my perspective will be different, also paying 5 bucks for the game goes a long way. To me this game is fun and the nostalgia I get from the bf3 maps and guns are well worth the play for the reduced price. Almost 40 hrs so far they rarely if ever push micro transactions. Game runs and plays great even on dated hardware like CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500

The fact you can grind guns and attachments and stuff from bots also makes progression much easier and more fun.
So for me if you get it on sale or at a reduced price 100% worth the buy.
