Cringe addition to the series with weird aesthetics and some of the worst driving mechanics, I've ever encountered. I'd love to be able to block any and all drift events because they're overwhelmingly boring due to how bad the handling is. Tuning your cars defies logic and has very little in common with reality. Cops are a rubber banded mess. Turning off in-game music and instead playing your favorite playlists in the background is advisable. Get the game for less than 10 bucks, if you really want to play it.

Haven't played such a good action rpg in a LONG time. In a way it reminded me of "Secret of Evermore". Absolute must have and perfect for the Steamdeck!

This game has some severe stability issues for a side-scroller but is worth playing anyway. If you ever have the displeasure of playing with a half empty bluetooth controller, your savegame is bound to be corrupted, if the controller switches off. Happened to me just before day 100 and it's frustrating as hell. It also crashes on otherwise rock-solid systems sometimes. Be aware and go for a free backup solution for your appdata folder.

The practically non-existent save system, imbalanced gameplay and very regular stutters are infuriating, but the whole Kingdom series is worth playing nonetheless.

At first, I was drawn to this game by its aesthetics, story and the childhood memories it triggered, but at some point the nerve-racking overdrive battle mechanic ruined the vibe. It doesn't add anything to the experience apart from getting in the way of your tactics, so an option to disable it would be great. Sadly this feature is so deeply rooted that I can't recommend this otherwise vibrant and innovative rpg.

All those huge efforts by 3D artists, screenwriters, actors and programmers botched by the most unintuitive controls in videogame history. What a shame!

I just noticed the completely unjustified hate campaign against Sweet Baby Inc. I then decided to complete the game in spite of my initial doubts and leave a good review just to ♥♥♥♥ with all you insecure right-wingers.

It started off a little bland, but once you get the hang of it, Kingdom Eighties offers interesting gameplay, an awesome synthwave soundtrack and cute nods towards the 80s and early 90s. Raw Fury clearly put some love into this as per usual.

Awesome trip with just the right ratio of stress and relief. Highly recommended for reclusive sci-fi nerds, who like wrapping their memories around themselves, while driving through times that never were (yes, this is how good the atmosphere is). I haven't been hooked on a game like this in ages!

Great graphics, authentic characters, meaningful choices, awesome gameplay and a story that revolves around you being frozen for decades and thawed by a mad scientist... what do you want more? Adventure awaits!
