Early Access Review
Really fun setting and gameplay. Surprisingly relaxing. Great game for both Colony Sim fans and Lovecraft fans! Would definitely be keen for DLC..

On sale for 95% off (bought for AUD 1.47) so well worth it at that price.
It's a great little arcade racer with fun drifting mechanics and cool graphics/visuals. The tracks are fun and have that retro/synth/80s-90s futurism aesthetic we all crave once in a while. Sweet music too. Basic time-tracking and leaderboard system, nothing too in-your-face like the larger racing games. Casual and relaxing while still having the option for achievement hunting and chasing better spots on the leaderboard.

Needs proper optimisation and the micro-transactions are a joke. Bit annoyed that we only get one of our own custom pawns... don't see any reason why we couldn't have a completely self-customised party for a game like this. Especially since Denuvo is bricking people who delete their saves to start new games with new characters. The health system is kinda lame but I guess "difficult = fun" or whatever. Half the player base seems to crash even with top-tier hardware. I've avoided crashes but 25 FPS in towns is painful to look at and takes from the experience.

Game is fun but it isn't $108 AUD "fun"...

Barely alive on launch and quickly dying. The wait times between games are atrocious (OCE servers). I aged 10 years, got married, divorced and opened a business during the waiting time between matches. Just to play against the same 2 to 3 players.

$70 AUD base game is a joke. If I were given the game for free, I still would have overpaid. Their last game was also a failure so how they justify this price is beyond me. Even Multiversus (peace be upon them) was free.

Gameplay-wise, matches were boring. The tutorial to the campaign had more depth than a ranked match because the whole meta is up-air spamming opponents and half the characters are useless.

Bonus: When I brought up the decaying player base (which can be seen via Steam Charts) on their official Discord - I was banned. I think that's for the best though as the community is focused solely on cringe cartoons and convincing themselves that this game is the next SMASH killer...

TLDR: SpongeBob would be rolling in his grave at the state of this game.

The game is worth $60AUD, not $90. Still needs a lot of patches and some rework on enemies and NG+ mechanics. The main ending was somewhat underwhelming and PVP is still pointless as the invader is at a major disadvantage with desync/lag. "Seemless co-op" is still iffy. LotF has amazing potential and updates/DLC (after the game is patched up) will add significant value to the experience. However, in its current state, I think instead of another playthrough I'll just give Elden Ring another go.
Review subject to change.

Amazing environment, beautiful music, and superb narration. The landscape is eerie, though has a unique charm to it. It is a walking simulator, yes, and that's fine. The slow traversal of the land allows the player to comfortably take in the unravelling narrative which explains the reason for our protagonist occupying the island. The dev's commentary adds some really interesting insight into the development of the game, the mod, and The Chinese Room.

Overall a short but awesome experience.

Very short but good if you're into dark, comedic point-and-click games and have a spare ten minutes to kill. Would love to see a longer version of this.

Amazing game! Great story set in an eerie and surreal world. Perfect for any horror point-and-click lovers. Similar to 'I have No Mouth, and I Must Scream'.
