About 2 weeks ago I remembered VRChat was still a thing.
"God, remember that game where everybody was knuckles? I wonder what's going on now..."

The last couple weeks have been a bit insane, and as a seasoned 'gamer' of all sorts of genres, I can confirm that getting into VRChat has been quite a unique and enlightening experience. VRChat is a gem. It is in a special zeitgeist as of this review, an evolving mix of longtime players and people whose names are still white. To set the stage for most worlds, a large open space with a lot of anime girls and tattooed male teenagers sitting in front of a mirror, gazing longingly into the virtual abyss. This is where VRChat looks to be a dead end - while this finding is certainly a trend in VRC, so too is the trend of diamonds in the rough... for every P.O.S. there is a very cool person waiting to meet you. You can meet literally anyone in this game, while you embody anyone. It is an escape like no other. Take an instant vacation. Watch a movie. Go to war. Play a drinking game. Sleep. You could theoretically live in this game. I'm sure some do.

There is so much to do, see and experience in VRChat, at a certain point you ask yourself if you are still playing one game. It is a very special piece of software, and I'm glad I'm now apart of it. This is a must-experience.

Jump in, find some friends, do whatever, be whomever....
