I'm seven hours in and loving this game. On Hard difficulty, the challenge is real but does not feel unfair, but very tough in parts. Just the way I like it.

The music, the story, it sets up an incredible atmosphere.

Oh, and do yourself a favor? Try it out in French if you haven't so far. Go on, the subtitles are more than fine. Playing it in French lends it a vibe that just hits different.

I bought this on a lark, but this DLC is way overpriced for just a handful of characters.

This game is truly intense and as the body count rises, the tension only increases. So far my best showing was finishing 6 out of 98 before getting my head blown off by a sniper.

As a fan of the novel Battle Royale this is my bread and butter. An awesome experience. My one strong complaint is that sometimes it gets so choppy, particularly when someone opens fire on me, that it is impossible to do anything but die. Tap Z as fast as you want, if you are unlucky, you will be dead before you can even turn around - and not because of a good shot on their part, but because of performance issues. My PC isn't a potato either - this is in serious need of some optimization.

Also, the reward crates are toooooooo expensive once you get a few under your belt. I understand the desire to increase replayability but some of us are adults who don't have hours upon hours every day to play a game to unlock a shirt. Paring the bundle cost down would be much appreciated.

tl;dr: Buy this game, enjoy the tension - but be prepared for frustrating deaths from time to time. Fortunately, you can jump right back in on a new match.

This game is buggy as hell. For some reason it keeps switching to desktop, and sometimes the game hangs but the music still plays and pressing up and down makes sounds as if I'm using the menu, but the menu isn't open, and blah blah blah. I've played it for five minutes and I'm already over it.
