Very much enjoyed my time with the Alters so far. I've beaten it twice and will be starting my third playthrough soon to finish the last storyline I'm missing.

Overall I find the game to be very immersive and detailed. The ripple effect of major life choices and how it can dramatically influence the person you become I find fascinating and also made me reflect on myself and my life that's lead me to where I am today.

General gameplay is about needing to escape the sunrise, so you have to gather resources to improve your base and get rid of obstacles so you can keep moving forward.

Along the way you uncover mysteries about the planet, but in a way it's kind of a backstory. The real story is tied to the Alters and their experiences across life and the lessons they learn throughout the game.

Even though the main story beats are the same on replays, the Alters I take with me can drastically change the conversations or interactions I have. Makes replaying the game feel fresh each time.

Looking forward to going again and I think I'll be able to hit 100% achievements.

I had a great experience with this game. It felt very unique but familiar at the same time.

It was a mesh of different styles that I think worked well with each other. If you're a fan of 1984 and Lynch then I definitely recommend.

Gameplay is mostly a walking simulator with a few puzzles here and there but overall pretty straightforward and nothing too difficult.

I liked the overall story and how it was summarized in the end and I'm looking forward to another playthrough to finish up the achievements.

I absolutely loved the experience of this game. It was just what I needed at the time and felt like a fun mystery with realistic interactions and story beats.

Also after having played the game I want to go read the novel it's based off of and also replay for some of the other endings.

It's a good time, plenty to grind for and continuous goals to work towards each season. Be prepared for a serious time commitment if you really want to get into endgame or complete achievements. Absolutely fantastic experience on the Steam Deck and well worth it if you like these kinds of games.

Majority of my hours are not accounted for here due to time played on the battle.net launcher.

Excellent world design, really easy to just lose yourself and be immersed in the world and atmosphere. I like the way Main Quests, Side Quests, Gigs are done. Makes it a joy to go exploring and also have a good idea of what types of things to expect.

Game also has a good length, plenty of stuff to do to play for longer without feeling like it's full of padding just for the sake of padding it. But also if you want to just get through the story you can do so in a reasonable amount of time.

I waited for the 2.1 update to play the game for the first time, and so far I've been enjoying it. Just make sure to turn off the HDD setting to minimize the duplicate NPCs that could get generated.

Played the first, Director's Cut is even more of a blast. Really enjoying the gamplay, the music, and the general isolation. Playing online, but no sharing of structures feels like a great balance of the community while handling it on your own.

Also I just watched Sam pull off his toenails.

10/10 would recommend.

Every update and the game keeps getting better and better. The parkour is quite a bit of fun and ties in well with the combat. Can't wait to jump back in and play more.

The trailers don't do this game justice. I avoided it for years thinking it was just another random open world zombie game with not much to it.

I was so incredibly wrong. This game is amazing, excellent story beats, emotional moments, and definitely some great action as well.

Very much looking forward to doing a New Game+ on the survival difficulty.

Wonderful experience and extremely deep. I put in over 200 hours in just one playthrough. It was a great journey with intense moments spread throughout.

It is also a game where the side quests are crazy deep and really draws me into the world.

Fantastic game, bought in the Steam Summer Sale for 98 cents. Great experience, loved the music and platforming, my only complaint is that I wish it was longer. I got a 100% completion with all achievements in around 30 minutes.
