This is perhaps one of the most addicting games I have played and is by far the best "transport tycoon"/"transport planning" game I have ever played. Firstly, the fact that you can play and build literally anywhere on Earth puts it ahead of all other transport tycoons. Then there's also the realistic population, which adds even more depth. You have a signalling system that ranges from being able to create and run simple rail lines to the average Japanese regional rail line (if you know, you know), and despite being quite hard to learn and ever harder to master, it's extremely rewarding. You have extraordinary Workshop support, you can get train, track, building, map, POI, etc... mods, there's just so many all made by amazing mod developers (no bias here at all). And the best part is that this game just keeps getting better, I paid so little for what has come over the years and the developer is still adding more and more, seriously, for how cheap the game is you get absolutely insane value out of it. But anyways, look, I don't want to write an essay on how great this game is, but if I wanted to I could. If this brief overview of just how amazing this game is doesn't make you want to buy it, I don't know what will (just look at my hours, I've literally never been bored).
