A really fun and great game, ruined and made almost unplayable by a insanely broken matchmaking system. It has been like this for years so theres little hope of getting fixed.
Play at your own risk, especially if you are new you should prepare to get put in matches with top players and pro players, and get chat abused for not knowing how to play. Even if you play in a full party you are probably gonna get spawn camped by grandmasters, or maybe you spawncamp some low ranks.
The matchmaking is so bad, that the Test Maps queue that has no matchmaking at all had much more balanced matches than Quick Play, but that mode was removed months ago.

But when you actually get lucky and get a balanced match, its a really fun game with much mode depth than Overwatch.

It somehow catches the feeling of a normal Homeworld game in ground combat. Also has a great story and a great soundtrack just like the other Homeworld games

the attack move command is a bit wonky and the efficiency depends on the unit type.

a good port of a great game, its even moddable.
