A must play imo.

I don't think I can put into words how much I enjoyed this game.

Go in as blind as possible you won't regret it.

Somehow a souls game rouge-like works really well.

Great game that perfectly recreates the fun and feel of classic N64 and PSX racing games!

This game has a massive problem with flashing lights! It's the main reason I uninstalled, this game for some reason has no Epilepsy Warning when you boot it up or before you start the story or enter any game play or benchmark or at the very least I definitely don't get one and I don't remember skipping passed one on first boot because I first booted months ago and if it's only on first boot that's a very bad decision on the devs part. The benchmark has an insanely quickly flashing light towards the end of it and multiple sections earlier on have the same. If you have epilepsy consider avoiding this game! I don't have epilepsy and it gave me a headache and just drove me mad.

I didn't care much for the story that I played, too many short cut scene's that took away control of the character in order to show you minor stuff that could have been done during game play. However the acting, or at least what I saw of it was great and the game is very pretty if your not using AMDs FSR, FSR 1.0 has a lot of artifacting especially around hair and sparks.

It tries to teach you the melee combat system through a QTE segment and then throws you into the combat properly before then showing you a page that explains what the game just taught you. I thought the combat was interesting but imo it didn't suit this game, The default KB&M controls are also some of the worst KB&M controls I've used for a 3rd person game I rebinded them immediately.

For a game that is very clearly trying it's hardest to be the next Dead Space it falls short massively by forgetting the core aspects that made Dead Space great and instead from what I played it seems to put a focus on gore rather than atmosphere and player control. Dead Space almost never takes control of Isaac away from you I played 2 hours of this and I think I spent 45 minutes in cut scenes most of which didn't need to be cut scenes but all were skipable. The combat also didn't feel very fun or satisfying and is a lot trickier than Dead Space while trying to innovate like Dead Space did but imo in a way that doesn't benefit the game, it felt like they made it difficult to add to the fear but that's not how it works. I didn't really want to compare this to Dead Space but starting the game with almost a 1 to 1 of Dead Space's opening before the main character gets wrongfully arrested and then having the main character hallucinate multiple times just made me think of Dead Space way too much and how Dead Space did it better all the way back in 2008.

I have a very good PC and had some performance issues with the FPS ranging from 140 - 45 depending. I also have a Steam Deck and I can tell you that Steam Deck verified rating is a straight up lie, I can't get above 25 fps on the benchmark.

This game is easily a game of the year contender!

My only complaint was the FPS dipped all the way down to 20 FPS for me on some parts inside and outside of combat, I have 32GB of RAM, an Intel 13700KF and a 3090Ti and was running the game on the highest graphics settings, I shouldn't be getting 20-30 FPS for some sections of the game and 60-90 on the rest no matter how beautiful the game looks imo. I really wish Publishers had more respect for how long it can take to make a great game and optimize it.

Xbox please don't make the same mistake you did with Tango Gameworks, Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog Games and Roadhouse Games! Don't close Ninja Theory! They make amazing games that are true art and that's important to support in creative industries!

This game is great now, however I can't recommend since EA is ditching it right after 2 years of great progress towards making it a true Battlefield game and not a mix between Battlefield and Rainbow 6 Siege. Their also now canceling projects to pull teams into making a new Battlefield, one of these canceled projects is a Dead Space 2 Remake. EA seems to be going back to their ways from the 2010s, canceling and abandoning games people like while trying to build games solely for chasing profit. If you want an experience like Battlefield 2, 3, 4 or Bad Company just go play BattleBit Remastered for now.

One of the fastest paced games I've played in a long time if ever. Everything's level based which I love as everything's in bite sized chunks instead of the game trying to fit the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ restaurant on your plate. Some boss fights are 30 seconds when you get them right and it's incredibly satisfying.
