Pros:
++Good graphics and art direction - which is a HUGE plus!
+Good voice acting; Gwen is cool.
+Influence is also a good method of interacting between civilizations and independent powers.
+Performance - no issues in almost 20 hours.
+Combat is nice.
+Barbarians are gone, and it's a cool progression with the independent powers.

Cons:
-For me, the religious stuff worked fine in Civ 6, and I liked it a lot; now it seems oversimplified.
---The age system is really bad for me. It doesn't feel organic and continuous; all wars get peaced out, and units specific to that age are destroyed or disappear(such as conquistadors for Spain), rendering your strategy useless.
-This contributes to the fact that you don't feel continuous game-play; you just get cut off in the middle, which feels wrong.
-Everyone advances at the same time, which is BS.
-It's needlessly complicated and vague sometimes.
-The system where you could get the AI to give you resources, relics, or great works in peace deals is gone. Now you get towns, which might hurt your civilisation due to happiness reduction, rendering any incentive to make peace null as you have only the option to continue attacking to level up your commander rather than capturing lots of towns to become a great empire.
-That feeling of getting someone destroyed because you have tanks or bombers while they're still on cavalry is gone, which was such a good and fun aspect.

Conclusion:
For me, it's a refund if Steam agrees. If they change the age system and make it an alternate game mode, that would be awesome; otherwise, I don't expect to come back to play this soon.

Nice dlc

I don't usually like turn base stuff, i haven't played D&D ever in my life although I enjoy other board games with friends, but if i say this game is awesome i am doing a grave injustice to the work that Larian put into this great great astounding piece of art and entertainment. This should be the standard that all games should be held accountable at. Best money spent in the last decade or so on a game. Ty Larian
