My favorite dlc out of all of them, looks amazing

Great sequel to the first game, love the new mechanics and story and had a ton of fun exploring and trying to completely everything there is to do. Over two years since its release the game still does have some annoying bugs that existed since its launch, some that are game breaking and prevent you from completing certain quests or others that cause volatiles to chase you and spawn during the day; stuff like that. I managed to overlook them and still pushed through it anyway and still enjoyed the game. I'd recommend getting the game on sale though. I don't think the bugs and issues that caused me to die or redo entire quests wasting hours of time are worth the $60 price tag plus, another $30 for the dlc.

One of my favorite zombie games I've played, it's not perfect and has its moments of frustration but it's still a great experience and has a very immersive world.

The mechanics and idea of this game are so cool and I love it, but the ending completely ruins the entire build up of the story which makes all the effort you put into the game feel pointless. There really is no ending or conclusion to the "zone" or the characters, you're just free to repeat the same paths and explore endlessly. On top of that it runs like trash, my gpu is almost 2x as powerful as the recommended specs and I get 20-30 fps at the very most at all times and changing graphic settings to lowest as possible don't seem to help at all. If you don't have a 4090 good luck running this. This seems to be a a bigger issue on the PS5 version of the game, the developers have stated 30 fps max was the intended goal of the game and they do not plan to optimize beyond that...what a joke. There are a lot of bugs and such that caused me to redo levels which really annoyed me but it seems like they can easily be fixed, hoping the developers do more updates in the future or possibly an expansion on the story or a new ending.

Only update they've done in the past 10 years was to add a third party launcher for a singeplayer game.

The remastered version of these games are a joke, be sure to manually save ever 2 min because if you don't it will crash and you will lose all of your progress; the auto save system is pretty much useless. On top of that the only quality of life update they've done in the past decade was simply adding their own bs launcher to the game...no one wants to use another launcher within a launcher. Other than all its problems this game does not feel like bioshock at all, its completely different from the first game. The combat is entirely different, the level design is different, it does not feel like bioshock at all. It's just not a great game, skip to bioshock infinite instead; there's nothing for you in this game.

I've played for 2 hours and I've no clue what to do or how to beat it, there is no direction or goals and stuff appears to be randomized; any videos I've found online are very outdated.

This game follows the same fate as every other game created by joy way, and that is not a good thing. They make all their games for the quest, and quest only. Meaning it looks horrible on pc, texture quality looks like a playstation 2 game, and you can't change it because there's zero graphic settings. Their first game this was my biggest complaint, it's not 2012 anymore, if you have a pc that can run pcvr why would you limit the texture quality to mobile graphics? The other reviews are right how everything is AI generated but that's honestly easy to overlook, its just how boring and repetitive the gameplay is. This game could be only an hour long if they didn't spawn enemies over and over for fight sequences just to increase the playtime. You just sit there and kill the same guys over and over again until the internal timer is up. I mainly played this game when it was in beta offline, but booting it up for its full release it looks like nothing has changed since then and there is nothing in their changelog to say there was any bug fixes.

It's so damn boring and a big step back from the first game. They advertise it in the trailer to make you think its going to have physics similar to boneworks...spoiler alert it doesn't. You can't pick weapons or ammo up but instead have to use their "grapple" mechanic because your player keeps grabbing tables or objects thinking you're trying to climb them; not picking them up...

I got this for free due to joy way giving into pressure and not wanting to be labeled as scammers for false advertising for their first game, I cannot recommend it purely because the company insists on making all their games for the quest with zero thought of pc hardware. All of their games seem to be a quick cash grab, every game they have made they release it then completely abandon them, I've purchased their other games and they've received zero bug fixes or quality of life updates in years (which is very much needed for the state they are in).
