Technically the game ran fine for me, just had 1 crash the whole playthrough.

I'd only recommend it if you have completed the other 2 games and must have more. It is not a bad game and I liked the first hours. The graphics are great, the new wingsuit is good, they improved the gadget mechanics. I didn't like the parrying and I think they added too much mechanics now.

However why I voted to not recommend the game is that I just didn't enjoy the story and the overall writing. I did not enjoy most of the dialogue and many character developments and motivations didn't feel very believable and kind of also ignored the developments in the prior games espec. Miles Morales.

The side quests were also all very absurd, except the one with the pigeons which I think was a cute throwback to the prior game. But many others seemed basic for a Spider-Man request. I also did not like that MJ is now a martial arts and firearms expert, very confusing choices. I can see what they were trying to do, breaking some conventions, but that was executed poorly.

I had the most fun with the game when the story was over and I traversed the city to clean up the final achievements. I do appreciate you get the 100% achievement without the NG+ but I do not like that this is even an achievement, preventing the 100% on Steam.

Every once in a while you encounter a game that you wish it wouldn't end, because the story, world and its characters just draws you in. I haven't played such a game in quite a while, so I am so grateful I for Dispatch to come along,

They don't make many games like that anymore sadly. Just a straightforward shooter with solid gameplay, no item shop crap and a decent story.

It's not a long game (5-6 hours) but the price is fair and I rather play a focused experience over an endless slog.

Runs great on Steam Deck the only drawback is that it ends on bit of a cliffhanger and we might never see a part III.

I completed all recent AC games, including the slog that was Valhalla. This game is by far the worst of them with so many baffling bad design choices.

I won't list them all but a few main items that bother me:
1. The resource / scout mechanic feels like a mobile game and adds little interesting in gameplay value, its just frustrating.
2. Finding a location in immersion mode isn't immersive instead of using landmarks and environmental design it is just, go here and then look / scout.
3. The level up mechanic is horrible, if you get a new ability point (mastery) you can't spend it because you need to complete this other boring fetch mechanic to level up your skill tree first.
4. The skill tree itself is bland and absolutely boring there is almost nothing interesting, many abilities are things like get X% better at this, wow...
5. Having two different characters doesn't work for me, just stick with the assassin play stile.
6. The game makes your assassin ability intentional worse (can't 1 hit kill) so you can level up to suck less. This is poor game design, you should start with a fun to play Assassin and then get more bad ass as you play more (see: Ghost of Tsushima).
Also, the designers noticed that not having a instant stealth kill might not be fun, so you can turn the whole mechanic off, another indication of confused and poor gampeplay design.
7. I am not long in the game (started on PS5 and transferred save over, that works fine at least). But the cutscenes are far too long and just bland and not interesting. You might control the character for 10 seconds, then another 15 minute cutscene. In one cutscene you learn to fight, instead of actually having you fight and learn the controls the game gives you a quicktime scene that has nothing to do with how the actual fighting works...
8. Loot is bland
9. Gameplay mechanics often center around infiltrating a castle and that mechanic is just so overused, and just not fun to play

Going from AC Mirage which I thoroughly enjoyed to this is disappointing for me, I think Ubisoft needs to take a pause on AC for a few years and have their designers a) play their old games b) play every other game in the genre to understand whats good.

Find the fun in your games Ubisoft, but this isn't it.

PS: I will still probably finish it at some point, as its just tradition for me to complete the games, but this feels like work.

The story didn't make a lot of sense to me. I also think the powers are becoming too overused and there were a lot of logical errors in it. They just tried to do too much, they should have kept it more simple and focus on character development.

I didn't like most characters, they are supposed to be adults (Professors?) but they act like children. I am fine with moving on from Chloe (I think the whole point of LiS 1 was to accept her death) , but the new characters just didn't click.

I also didn't like the constant negative police undertone. What was the point of that? The police was just there to investigate the issue, they weren't the villains in the plot, so it just didn't make sense to portrait them like that.

I really liked True Colors, but this one was not my cup of tea.

It's not a bad game and you can certainly have a lot of fun with it, if you like the modern AC games. It looks beautiful, the gameplay is solid (minus the stealth) and the story is serviceable.

However, like many have said, the game does drag on and just feels too big. I loved Odyssey and 100% it twice, so I was asking myself why this feels so bloated and sometimes like a chore to play compared to Odyssey. I think the reason is the absence of any proper side quests. You have a few main quests that you follow and besides those the world is just filled with busy work. Mostly collecting things, a few jumps and very basic puzzles. The small stories you can find aren't proper side quests neither as they end after a few minutes.

Would they have cut the busy work and put proper side quests in the game, filling the beautiful world with the content it deserves, this would have been a much better game. The Witcher 3 was certainly a huge game, but it never felt like a drag because it had interesting content (side quests) in it, and I think that is the major flaw Ubisoft made with this game, which is a shame as when you ride through the mountains and valleys you can see the potential of what could have been.

Completed this game 3 times now (PS4, PS5, PC) - still loved every second of it, just an amazing game.

So far I like it much more than Hot Wheels (which was an absolute low for me).

But please give an option to turn off pinned objectives in the HUD! I like to play without any HUD elements and every DLC makes the interface worse. This DLC pins objectives way more agressively than Hot Wheels, you turn it off and just set a waypoint or finish a race and it pins the objective again... At least give a setting to disable this.

Its also not very useful, this isn't an RPG - why do I need a permanent reminder that my objective is to win that race...

Not a fan of the cluttered interface they added such as that g-force meter right in the center of the screen or the progress tracker. You can turn those off (although the progress tracker keeps coming back). They also changed how the finish camera animation zooms in on your car (now always goes to the front, no matter the angle), might be a personal thing but I don't like it as it makes sliding over the finish a bit less fun.Overall not a very fun DLC (I also don't care about Hot Wheels :D ).
