A fun minesweeper/mining hybrid game. A single play through is going to usually be between 2-5 hours with getting all achievements taking multiple play throughs. It has simple but cute pixel art and music that changes as you dig deeper. It is overall a fun game to spend a while poking away at and has some real challenge to it if you want to play optimally.

Very good spiritual successor to HoMM. Although still in early access what is present works and is relatively bug free. As is the campaigns are only good for 10-20 hours but on full release it is likely to be fully comparable to a HoMM game. The games music is also quite good and the short songs at the end of each mission are fun.

Played the original more than a decade ago and this is an improvement in every metric. Spiderweb Softwares largest appeal as always remains the excellent writing. The Geneforge series specifically has a unique mechanic in that you create creatures that act as your other party members. It is a fun mechanic and there is a good variety allowing for a variety of play styles. One of my favorite CRPGs and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre.

Good combat, decent writing, very pretty, overall a very good game. Only real complaints are it can get a bit repetitive, the writing is nothing ground breaking, and the state of structures and other large artifacts from modern civilization given passage of time and environmental stresses are not realistic as they are far too intact. Would recommend for anyone interested in an open world action-rpg as it is well above average and should be considered one of the best although it is does not break my top five. 30-80 hours of playtime depending on how much side content you want to do.
