I'll keep it concise.

This game is just wonderful. Character variety and development, mechanics and balance, soundtrack and visuals. The vibes in general... It's got it all in spades.

A must-play if you like platformers and soulslikes.

Hades is another fantastic installment of the Supergiant universe, and a game that impresses at every turn, whether you're 7 minutes into the game or 70 hours. Constant new content and dialogue, expansive and intricate skill sets for different playstyles, and true roguelike dungeoncrawling keep me coming back. Over, and over, and over, and over. A powerful, oft foreboding soundtrack keeps you grounded as your power rises, and the art style (despite depicting the UNDERWORLD) is beautiful, colorful, and expressive.

Everything about this game, if you enjoy Roguelike games? Is fantastic. This is one of my most worthwhile game investments ever. So much so that this is the first time I've ever been compelled to write a review, so people understand just how good this game is.

Buy it already.

>Begin game, join server as a D-Boy
>Meet "the mob", join him and his family
>Slowly increase the true Italian family as his right-hand man
>Players from every class (SCP included) become one with the pasta-loving mafia
>Those who betray or question are shown why they should not
>Soon enough, The Captain of a pirate ship joins the server
>The Mob bonds with him, he becomes one of us, yet his own entity
>Soon, the Mob is now the Italian Pirates, a server-wide, pasta and open sea-loving family
>This goes on for hours on end, a multitude of friendships made
>"Yo ho ho and a bottle of marinara!"

This game is free.
Fantastic.

One of the best games of any arcade-style game I've ever played. Though I am a bit biased, as Savant is also my favorite music artist, the game itself present enough challenge and mild variety that keeps me playing for hours. A small game that has energetic music tracks, difficult enemies and an Endless mode (unlocked after Story completion) that will keep you blasting away flying teapots to get the highest score for days, Savant - Ascent is a brilliant game thought up by D-Pad Studios and I can't wait to see what they add on to it as time passes. I'm excited enough as is for the planned extra levels, new music tracks and special abilities. 5/5 from me!
