FOR SUPER EARTH

Far too much dry land, all of which is painful to explore, uninteresting, and just takes up space
Map feels cramped and closed in which kills any thalassophobia triggers which made the first game so terrifying
Fauna is underwhelming and the few that are somewhat intimidating arnt inherently dangerous and are spammed to the point they just become a nuisance you get used to (see Bonesharks in the first game)

I don't think its a "bad" game, theirs still a ton to discover, craft, and explore, however it comes up painfully short of its predecessor

FPS degradation still persistent a month(s) after release.

Edit* Game also semi-frequently crashes now, tons of persistent bugs, and no DLC released yet.

Stick with FH4 if youre on the fence, devs have been too busy counting their cash to actually work on the game.

Horrible UI, Clunky Gameplay, and graphics that came straight out of 2008.

Thief Simulator with fire.

This game has the most memorable "1st play-through" you will ever experience.

Well over 100 hours worth of genuinely fun content to be played and its still in Beta.

spend more time at loading screens than actually playing the game. The bugs that existed 12 years ago still exist today. Despite this the wildly overpriced p2w item shop is alive and well.
