For as much as people praise and love this game and call it the True Souls, I've grown to despise the lackluster nature of build variety, enemy placement, and non-intuitive routing in certain places of the world. I could nit-pick for hours, but all I will say is: everything that people say is bad about Dark Souls 2 seems to apply to this game primarily.

In all honesty, one of my favorite games of 2023. Stylized out the wazoo, amazing combat and gameplay loop, and an active friendly developer. What more could you ever ask for in a game

what an awesome little indie game

While I don't play much - if at all - anymore, I can't in good faith NOT recommend this game to literally everyone. It's free, runs well anywhere, has good story, and hundreds of hours of content. For anyone starting out though, I recommend getting a few friends on board, as that makes it several times more fun.
