Rampant cheating problem with inaction from Respawn, I am not even sure the report button actually work or it is just cosmetic to make it looks like they will do something. Absolutely no action taken even when I am reporting offensive name / chat, where they will send you an automated message saying no action will be taken.

Lack of new actual content in each season, all the resources went to cosmetic department and steadily pump out several ridiculous priced collection events every season, while neglecting all the different technical problems and bugs piling up in the game.

And recently they announced ridiculous battle pass changes, that will require you to pay $20 (Real world money only, you can't pay with coin that you have) each season for it, saying the changes is based on "community feedback", like really? How ludicrous it is. You might as well tell the truth and saying it is based on "stakeholders feedback".

TL;DR Don't waste your time on this game, if you are still playing this game and having some thoughts about quitting, but feeling FOMO, just quit, it wasn't that important anyways, trust me

Fun survival & RPG & base building system
Story & character progression makes sense and not overwhelming unlike some other survival games

Absolutely can't wait for future updates!

One really satisfying game where you start with absolutely nothing, only a manual for you to slowly discover all the mechanics of the game and secrets of the world

Repetitive and boring gameplay with nothing much changing in between days, just doing the same thing everyday with slight difference
Quite buggy too unfortunately, and many of them are pretty obvious

A very enjoyable bullethell & metroidvania game, with good progression system, and good amount of challenging enemies

Cute and beautiful visual with different biomes to explore, with lovely music for each of them, fit with the biome theme as well

Lots of stuff to collect and secrets to find, and there is an item that can help you backtrack and find what you miss, so you won't forgot where you left off if you stop playing for a few days for whatever reason

Feels really good using keyboard and mouse with manual aiming (There are other aiming mode if you are not familiar with mouse aiming)

Recommended for people who are looking to enjoy a simple bullethell / metroidvania game

Something important to note, cause I see people complain about this: this game is kinda like a roguelite, so if you have a busy schedule, or if you have poor time management, this game might not be for you. During a run, this game only save if you finished the run, or if you go to the next zone, both of which can be easily achieved, if you plan ahead. (Expect if there is a story mission, which there might be other different conditions) If you dislike unable to save on demand, then this is not for you!

Anyways, here's some pro and con with the initial impression: (Will update once I finish it)

++ A must have if you like car and roadtrip, and enjoy "getting to know the car". The car is your buddy, if you take good care of him, he will take good care of you!
++ Atmospheric and immersive environment, especially the weather effect is 10/10
+ Enjoyable driving experience, radio available with good playlist
+ You can customize the difficulty / gameplay features of the game, with large variety of option. Achievement will only disable if you disable player damage, player death, or car damage

- The game is a bit demanding on the performance side, you might not have the best graphics experience if you have a lower mid-range pc
- There are still a few non-gamebreaking bugs in the game, the developer will probably fix them in future patches

This is just... boring for me personally, maybe it's for you, but definitely not for me, I find myself simply want to finish the game just to be done with it.

The most problematic part: Gameplay - There is no gameplay, you just walk / run in a direction and occasionally there is a little puzzle for you to solve, but all of the puzzle is just the basic run-of-the-mill puzzle you see in every other games. 2.5D and 3D part of the game is the same, just with different perspective. You can basically make this into a short film and there would be no difference at all. There are alternative paths you can go in this game, but they do absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of the story. So basically you are not playing the game, you are just watching the game while pressing buttons.

Story - It's essentially "The truman show" in game format, but I find the overall story to be average and a bit predictable, and the ending is extremely unsatisfying.I understand the ending is suppose to be realistic, but being realistic not necessarily mean good, and I think we certainly don't need a game to remind us the depressing fact that big corp will always win.

Graphics & Performance - The artstyle of the game look generally beautiful, but the optimization on pc is horrible, my pc run super hot while playing the game, while nowadays AAA games didn't even run that hot, it just didn't make sense for it to run this hot, with it being neither CPU-intensive nor GPU-intensive with the gameplay / graphics, probably problems with CPU / GPU utilization?

Overall I am very disappointed with this purchase, I would refund if I have the chance unfortunately

Dark Soul but with guns and non-open world, recommend for those who enjoy shooting stuff

Repetitive boring content
Grindy and unclear progression
Poor performance filled with major bugs and glitches
Forced public server in open area (lots of quest will take place there) with ping and disconnect issues

A cosmetic shop is already present in the game the first day of the early access, ready to take your money, it's obvious what's the direction this game is taking

I don't recommend paying to play it now, you got way better options, maybe wait until f2p full release
