Another amazing route for MDSoA! Shinji is an adorable and mischievous sweetheart. I always love his responses when you joke or playfully tease someone too.

Oh man, this was so perfect!! I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Such a great addition to the game. The story is completely different than Shou's route, which is really nice, yet the feel is still the same, even though the writer for this DLC is different. The play length is also longer and there are two possible "Game Over" ends, though those I had to go out of my way to get. All three canon endings were very satisfying, though I think my favorite would be the Mystic end. Tatsuya's family is so great and Takumi is the broest of bros. He needs a badge of honor or something. While I think I'll probably end up loving the grumpy snowflake the most overall, Takumi could possibly be a close second for me. (I love Tatsuya too much, god)

Another really nice thing about the game series in general is that even when you persue one character, all the other guys are around. They're your friends and your partner's friends, and they're there for you in both Tatsuya's and Shou's routes. In both routes, while the main stories are on you and your partner, the writers also do a great job of getting you acquainted with the other guys too, making you want to find out more on everyone. In Shou's route, I think it gets you use to Shinji's character and in Tatsuya's route, it gets you to cry about Takumi because the story isn't emotional enough as it is! You just had to go there, didn't you! You fiends! *jokingly shakes fist at creators*

TL;DR: Share an iced coffee with the grumpy snowflake. I really don't think you would regret it. I didn't. I mean, it's $5. People spend that much on iced coffee all the time anyway IRL. This will last you longer.

I don't often leave reviews because I'm really not good with wording how I feel or think, but for this, I feel I have to.

As I've seen with other reviews, once I played through the prologue, I couldn't help but purchase the first "story". The pricing is really good, considering the quality and the length of game play. I'm usually sort of "meh" on visual novels, they seem to either hit or miss with me, even when the reviews are really good.

This game, though, this was very refreshing. The art is lovely! Very well done and not the typical anime look, which is almost a relief, just to see something else. The writing and story really pulled me in too. Yes, there's romance, but it's not the whole point of the game. There's a lot more going on with the person you play as, as well as the other characters. Everyone has their own issues and even when you're not following down the romance path of the other guys, they are still your friends.

The story is a nice rollercoaster of dark/heavy and light/fun and I really look forward to more story releases. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Tatsuya's storyline. (oh my weaknesses)

Really interested in the rest of the series and I had a pretty great time playing so far. I wonder what the consequences will be for what I've done thus far?

Flawless. The only downside is how short the game is. I really hope for some future expansions.
