Never played any of the old Armored Cores. Picked this one up because FromSoftware generally releases only excellence. I was not disappointed for the most part. I do have minor critiques of the game. However, overall satisfied with the game. Would purchase again and will be playing through to the end of NewGame++.

The game is interesting. I enjoy the low threat, low speed grind. Exploring the planet. New things to do. Building mechanics aren't overly complicated and nothing is overly complicated to build.

The only negative i have is that i don't know why I am doing any of it. Granted, I am only currently about 7 hours in. I still don't know why I am doing anything that I am doing or what exactly I am working towards. There is nothing really pulling me forward. I don't wake up wanting to get on and achieve goals. The most exciting thing that has happened thus far is dying of oxygen deprivation about 5 times....and running out of storage, trying to store dynamite in my forge, and blowing half my base up.

This is a good game but it really helps to be self driven and just looking to chill.

9.9 out of 10 stars. that .1? what in the world were they thinking with the marauder? Played the entire game on ultra violence but every time a marauder came out, i struggled on Im Too Young to Die. It was a very balanced and challenging experience which i was always on the edge of my seat but didnt feel like i was playing a dark souls game. The marauder is extremely broken and harder than pretty much anything else in my opinion. Id fight armies of any of the other demons before i fought one marauder. When you add him into hoards of demons pushing you in a fight..add in the dynamic that you cant hit him from a distance..and you cant hit him up close..and you have to wait for his eyes to turn green and to attack you before you can attack him -_- lets also mention he cannot be hit by the BFG OR the crucible. The two weapons that will one hit anything cant touch this guy either. not impressed with him. BUT...nothing but praise for the rest of the game. There was many years between the last one and this one..and i would wait many years for another game like this. Thank you for the fun experience.
