Dungeonborne was supposed to be the chosen one. Better than Dark and Darker with a team that will listen to the community. The devs have completely foregone that statement and have no intention of listening to the comunity. On day one of Early Access Release, the game skyrocketed to 40k concurrent players and within the span of 2 months, we are seeing lows of 4k and highs of 9k. A single change to the Cryomancer class made the game unplayable. Hit Q, click. The enemy is dead. Since the patch, the community outraged and called for the devs to nerf the living hell out of it. The devs have only doubled, tripled and quadrupled down on their decision. Instead of actually dealing with the "CryoCancer" (community dubbed term) problem, they nerfed the Rogue class into the ground, the only class capable of actually dealing with Cryomancers.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Other issues such as RMT (Real Money Trading) and time gated top-tier item drops, Tank Meta, Life on Hit weapon and armour attributes (you can stack this attribute on multiple equipment pieces so you can gain upwards of 65 health whenever you hit an enemy with anything), absolutely destroying a class that had the ability to stay invisible in the storm and avoid fights just to make another class even better at surviving the storm (go figure), gear score matchmaking is supposed to be a thing - The better gear you have, the higher end the lobby will be - has NOT worked since day one as you could craft a single piece of armour or a weapon with a "gear level" of 3 or 4 and find people in the highest quality of equipment with a gear score or gear level of 40+ that will ROLL. YOUR. ♥♥♥♥. Tutorial for this game made it easy for new players to join in but as it currently stands, there cant be any growth since you can find some gear level 2 equipment in 1 match and the next, going against these top tier players that haven't died in weeks.

This game was the chosen one. Since its launch i've grinded daily and put in 400 hours in just over 2 months. It's truly a shame that the game that could've set records in just about every aspect has been reduced to nothing in these 2 months. I'd say theres hope that the devs will see posts like mine and actually fix the game but by the time they actually do anything, the game will be dead...
