how to increase 2GB limit to 4GB on 64x windows OS . you need to download this little software needed to edit the executable, CFF Explorer: Ntcore.com . After downloading it, open the CFF Explorer and top left click on "File", then "Open" (or just on the big folder image beneath it). A new window should open, browse to your DoW (DarkCrusade.exe or Soulstorm.exe) and double click it or click it and then open. On the left side there should be a list, under "Nt Headers" should be "File Header" click once on it. Now in the panel on the right, all the way to the right bottom there should be "Click here" click it. Finally a small window will open with a bunch of options you can check or uncheck, look for "App can handle >2GB address space" and check it. Then click Ok and save it ("File" top left, then "Save").

Fix : select properties of the exe file. Goto 'compatibility' tab, press button 'Change High DPI Settings', check 'Override high DPI scaling ...' and select 'Application' in drop-down.

Or : set windows display scaling to 100%.

I looked for the settings file (found in documents/my games/dawn of war 2/settings/configuration). In that file, you can change raindetail to value 0 and save. This turned off the rain for me

Do you have some type of scaling set in Windows? Maybe try to right click the shortcut, Compatibility>Change High DPI Settings>Override High DPI Scaling: Application

Homeworld hotkeys keybindings + when you're ingame, press F10. There's a UI scaling option in the lower right.

The hotkeys are saved in the file PLAYERCFG.LUA located at steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Profiles\Profile1. There's a section "ControlsOptions" which won't have anything in it when the hotkeys are at the default values, but when a player makes a change to them, that section fills with those changes.

You should make sure none of those folders are read-only, and make sure that file isn't read-only.

Once you've done that, you have a number of options.
-- You can use the PLAYERCFG.LUA file like normal which is what I do.
-- You can make changes in the game, and save a copy that file once it has the custom keys in it.
-- You could make the changes you want and then make that file read-only,
