I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Princess Remedy game, but I'm glad she was given a second chance. A Heap of Trouble improves on the originals formula in basically every way imaginable, with the additional boss fights and customizable special attacks in particular adding a lot more variety to the encounters.

It's on the short side though, only being an hour long or so for a single playthrough even if you're going for a completionist run, so be wary of that if you're looking for something a bit meatier.

The presentation and music are stronger than ever, almost feeling like a childrens book at times, and though the puzzles are more challenging than they were in Botanicula or Machinarium most of them felt fair. If you enjoyed any of the previous Samorost games or Amanita's other works you won't be disappointed.

The emulation has its problems but Metal Slug 3 is such a phenomenal game that I still have to recommend it despite that. Having the game available to play online with Steam friends is great.

With all the anime girls, memes and sex jokes it's very easy to see why someone would be turned off from VA-11 Hall-A at a glance. However, if you don't mind some pandering and a light main story you'll find a VN that's definitely worth your time. By the end of my playthrough I was invested in Glitch City and the quirky characters living within it.
