TL;DR - Doom eternal as a roguelite.

Pros: Fun, fast-paced gameplay loop of trying to balance all your cooldowns and resources in bullet hell style arenas. Good music, everything is well designed and made quite competently. Lots to unlock if you like 100%ing games. the difficulty scaling per run is pretty good, I found myself challenged with each new location.

Cons: the meta progression is a little tedious at times, a lot of the resources you pick up during a run are needed for just one perk upgrade. There's not very much you can choose for your loadout unfortunately, each player character archetype only has 1 primary weapon, which is fun to use for the most part but can get a little boring since there's not very much variation or experimentation you can try out.

If you liked D. Eternal, or like rouguelites and want to try a new take on the pseudo-genre I'd recommend it. $32.50 CAD is a little steep so If you're on the fence then I'd suggest waiting for a sale.

This game is teriffic i just love it the controls are nice and responcive and it really feels like your in Skyrim.
