Want to stay sane?
Dont want to break your keyboard after 2 Hours of trying to get past the second level?

Dont play this.

You want to have one of the best Price-Value games on steam?
Its a rediculusly fast-paced game. It requires alot of training, which you'll get if you play it for long enough.
It might be frustrating as all hell, but its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfying when you get those extra 2 seconds on any of the previous levels.

Its 3€, if its on sale its as low as 1€.
In my opinion one of the most satisfying games on steam.

First off - I LOVE this game.
I may only have ~150 Hours recorded on steam,
but believe me, i've played more than ten times that on the
Non-Steam Version.

It is my Baseline for every other RTS-Game i get nowadays.
And to be honest - i've not found one that really compares to this,
except for the Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - games (the first ones, the
second ones are, well, not as good)

Basics:
This game will let you command a Company of Soldiers (*hums* mere fourty Rifles strong).
You recruit said Soldiers in "Tierbased" Buildings.
You'll start out with your basic rifleman, working your way up through light tanks, heavy infantry, all the way
up to infamous Units like Tigers, Panthers and Pershings.

Gameplay:
Playing this game gives me chills.
It can be slow, tactical and methodical.
2 Minutes later, the enemy starts his mayor Offensive with an Artillery Barrage, Tanks come rolling in,
the Machineguns open up, the AT-Cannon gets blown to pieces. People get ripped apart by Mortar Fire,
Everything is in chaos.
It is simply incredible. But i'm trailing off here, so i'll come back to the Gameplay.
This game is based around Resource Management.
You'll need to take care of Manpower, Ammunition, Fuel and lé old Population Cap.
Every Unit you want to build, every building you want to create, will cost you a certain
amount of Manpower. In addition to that, you'll sometimes need to pay Fuel or Ammunition.
You can increase the amount of Resources you gain by capturing Controlpoints.
In order to keep those points you have the choice of building fortifications and obstacles.

While you are capturing territory, you will encounter enemies, which brings me to the Combat.
Combat is, quite simply, the best combat in any RTS i've ever had.
You control Squads of Infantry or Single Vehicles. The Firefights are intense, the only thing i
absolutely dislike is the fact that machineguns take an extreme amount of time to kill infantry.
The combat is focused around the Morale of your Units. Machineguns force your units to cower on the floor, trying to dodge bullets.
Thankfully, there are awsome mods that fix that.

The Vehicle Combat is good, but could be better. There are only so many units you can choose from, and you'll see alot of the same unit types. Again, mods fix this problem quite well.

The next thing that influences the Game quite heavily are the Command Abilities.
At the start of the game, you start off by picking one Command Tree. You unlock Points by earning Experience. Experience is gained by Killing Units, capturing Territory and well, losing units. With these Points, you can unlock certain Abilities like Units you can call in, Artillery Barrages, Plane "straveruns", and passive Abilities, which will affect your units morale for example.

If you've read this far - F*ck it. Just go buy the game. Its one of, if not the best RTS games ever made.
I am not kidding you. Just go spend the 25€ on the complete Pack, or wait for it to go on a sale.
Its worth every penny. The amount of fun I had by myself and with friends is just borderline legal.

GET THE F*CKING GAME ALREADY!
