This game has so much content and it's really fun with friends.

Bad game.

Good game, I've played it for 7 hours now and I've gotta say that it looks incredible. The combat is surprisingly fun although a little janky at some points. The areas look beautiful and the characters are likeable. The story is a little confusing and I'm hoping an explanation will help sum it up better.

Repentance? More like Repent-ants in my pants because you have to move like a fu**ing god to get far into the new content, good luck with your 0.8 speed ♥♥♥♥♥♥. What's that? You want bwimstone wittle baby, too bad! You get another shot speed up. Huh? You wanted to not get hit every second by annoying enemies that have far too much range and shot speed, uh uh, tsk tsk, that's not how this dlc works, maybe you should've played azazel. Having to get to the secret dlc boss is tedious? Oh that sucks for you little guy. Good items? Oh yeah, only got a few of them.

Here's the thing. This DLC is brimming with quality but utterly fails in making every run fun, and even runs that seem overpowered you'll have very little health or you'll get bs'ed by no heart pickups. The new bosses have a wide range of attacks and appear well choreographed, but you'll find yourself being hurt far too much and it being impossible to avoid. I recommend this DLC for sure, but just be ready to have far more breath-holding, heart-stopping, butt-clenching moments because you don't know whether you'll be hit or not.

Honestly, I gave up on this game for almost a full year before deciding to pick it back up and I'm glad I did. This game is actually really fantastic, the music, the art and the bosses. Everything is done almost completely right. There really isn't too much I'd complain about this game other than some pretty annoying attacks from some bosses which are almost completely unavoidable. Also yes it's hard, but the majority of it is reasonably hard and it doesn't feel artificial either.

Fantastic game engine which is easy to use and learn. I have improved my overall understanding of how to code and working as a gamedev because of this engine. I have a lot more hours outside of steam.

The people leaving negative reviews are honestly not able to comprehend the fact that this isn't a sequel. It's based around a mobile game ported to PC. This may be similar to EtG but is actually much more enjoyable when you take it for what it is and don't compare it to the PC ONLY GAME Enter the Gungeon.

Really well made game with plenty of secrets and a good story.
