I've played through the entirety of the Devil May Cry series. Having bought this on release day, blowing through the entire main story in a few days, and continuing to play this on occasion: I'm still enjoying the hell out of myself. can safely say that this is the culmination of over a decade of badass gameplay (with the exception of DMC2) piled on top of a fun story that doesn't get in its own way (also with the exception of DMC2).

Overall: The layers of complexity in Nero, V, and Dante's movesets; combined with the clear reverence that the developers have for the original DMC games, makes this an absolute treat to recommend. I can only imagine where the series will go next!
