Takes some getting used to but its fun as hell

My favorite Pc Beat'em up so far (next to the unobtainable Scott Pilgrim game)
A super unexpected sequel to a not so awesome classic
Theres enough characters and fighting styles to get your moneys worth
the open world aspect is kind of annoying actually, the game doesnt give a whole lot of guidance
but its not that hard to figure out,
the world isnt that hard to learn your way around.
its slow to start as most characters start with no combos and little to go off,
but once you find dojos and get a few moves and some practice it becomes much easier
the rpg elements and leveling give you that "reason to keep playing" feeling and its easy to get addicted to
it was def buggy when i last played it but nothing crippling
wish it had voice support so i could tell these randoms "HEY HIDING IN THE DUMPSTER MAKES THE COPS GO AWAY" or "HEY TURD I NEED TO BUY FOOD! COME IN HERE!"
oh yeah...dont get the cops on you, theyre strong and you get no exp for killing them. and dying takes half your money...
7.5/10 for shortness of the story, and i do crave more characters, but for the dollar its reasonable, but if another sequel gets released i expect it to be amazing and i will accept nothing less >=|

Im gonna keep this review short because everyone knows whats good with GTA
The story is pretty fun, but they did skimp a little in comparison to other GTA games.
The Online has been improved so much theres so much content, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
theres so many ways to make money now, not to mention the endless replay value when friends get invovled
all the business types you can open and different mission styles have made the online into a full fledged game and has put the offline story in its shadow. hackers can be a problem but nothing that cant be fixed by switching sessions.
and rockstar is cracking down
MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE SHARK CARD CRAP!!!
BUUUUUUT it is a decent way of getting around making people pay for dlc and giving people a chance to just work for the money to get the same content...but it does make make the game a PTW title in my opinion,
still nothing beats opening a drug smuggling business online with your friends hahaha

I'm mad at everyone who told me not to buy this game.
this game is so much fun.
the graphics and attention to detail in everything in this game is insane
the story was good, but couldve used more content.
the side missions get a little tedious, but thats almost expected among open world games hahaha
character creation is good enough
playing with friends is a blast
they did a fantastic job with the late game PVP modes
darkzones are fun too
the rpg elements make it a bit more of a thinker as far as character builds
if you like realistic shooters, this might not be for you
youll find yourself shooting the same hostiles in the head multiple times
inventory management is the most frustrating thing ever (late game)
id give this game a 9/10 i love it and i will pick it back up in the future
there really arent any other games in its class that hold a candle to The Division
(that statment doesnt refer to realistic shooters like COD)

the best and worst time you'll ever have playing a game
messing with people is a blast
being the victim, not so much
once you become a target to a rival settlment the game can easily become hell
practice in the pvp servers to learn to properly defend
PLAY WITH FRIENDS!!!!
i cannot stress enough how important this is.
you wont stand much of a chance alone
and so much silly crap happens in this game its hard to not have fun if your playting with friends
you can join a random settlement pretty easily if you talk to people
but they often just betray you and those hours you spent grind mining became pointless
have a back up base of your own if you dont fully trust your settlement members lol
its hard to write an in depth review for this game because it is early access and constantly changing
BUT ITS ALWAYS IMPROVING,
theres always something new and exciting everytime i check back in on the game
i cant touch on the crafting because in 3 months the crafting could get a complete overhaul like it has done so many times in the past
it does help keep the game fresh but it can be annoying, as theyve tested a few bad ideas since ive owned the game
but its an EA title theyre still figuring it out.
the graphics far surpass the expectations of an early access, this game is beautiful.
building is super easy and fun, not super complex, but its enough to charm
all in all, 20 bucks dude. (sometimes on sale for around 10)
its well worth it, buy the game.
its a blast with friends
if you often rage quit...probably play something else
if your a person who resembles cancer youll love this game

but if youre buying this because you want a scott pilgrim doppleganger? dont.
it doesnt play the same
gameplay is super on rails
literally its either front rail or back rail, not free floating 2.5D like scott pilgrim, or golden axe or the simpsons
just got it as an arcade style beat em up to play with my girlfriend, served that purpose lol
again its still okay, its just disapointing to be like
"eh whatever i dont care that its little girls dressed as french maids etc."
just for gameplay to be lacking,
also when using local co-op its really annoying to get 2 controllers to work, the #2 controller just wants to activate all 3 co-op characters, super frustrating lol

Fun gameplay, its weird playing a Max Payne game again after all these years haha
Graphics are great, stands up to alot of current games
Not enough touching on the story from the previous games,
shoulda did something more to bring people up to date who havent played the previous games
loved the soundtrack
loved the story very true to Max!
if you liked the previous games? 3 will not disapoint.
(dont buy the dlc, the multiplayer is a little dead probably just because the game is getting older)

coulda put a few things in there to make it a better rounded game but still worth the money!
if Rockstar stays on this path and decides to release a 4th? its gonna be a game changer.

Ive loved every dead rising games so far and this one is no exception,
i see alot of bad reviews for the game saying it ran poorly? the game did crash on me twice in the 19 hours i put in the game before this review, but since the game autosaves so frequently and the time limit isnt as strict as 1 and 2 it didnt really set me back.
the crafting is alot more fun and easy,
the weapon locker makes the game super easy if you abuse it, but for fun runs its great,
survivors are alot less annoying aswell
same great gameplay. if you liked 1 and 2 buy this game

$20-25 dollar game if you ask me
still got 39 hours out of it before i decided that i was over it
i still gave this game my reccomendation because well, 4-player co-op
any game that offers any cutomizability and that kinda co-op stands to be super addicting to some people, just not me.

Oh how ive missed capcoms story driven games <3
I loved this game
I played 1 back in the day when it first came out,
just now got around to playing 2
Loved the story,
The crafting could have been better, but since the game is time based im glad its quick and easy to make most combos
Burnt through the in two days with the S-rank ending
But I didnt get around to doing all the cool extra stuff on the first playthrough
But you can start the story over keeping your unlockables, adding re-play value without becoming too tedious
The survivors seem a lot less rediculous to save in 2 as opposed to 1
No major gripes with the game.

Will play again.
