Bought it to play with friends and our sessions keep freezing up. I dont understand why turns are so slow or actions cant be queued up. If youre planning to play with friends, please reconsider this purchase. If you are playing solo, none of these things are that bad as you can fast forward animations and there shouldn't be any connection of freezing issues.

This is more half baked than their past and future games. Seems like they stepped developing this already.

Mouse and keyboard input no longer work at all. I've deleted my ini files to reset them and still nothing.

I played this game since closed beta around 6 or 7 years ago. I mastered almost every god until about a year or two ago and played hundreds of hours of every game mode with friends and alone.
They game used to be good, it had great direction and things that made it quite unique and it still does but recently every patch or major update is for more skins or a giant event that requires you to spend money to get a cool looking frame or skin. New gods are released with horrible balance, frequently overpowered so that people are inclined to spend money to dominate games with that god early in the release. Following by patches that nerf the god so that they either become balanced or underpowered. With so many new gods coming out nowadays, it is clear that the smite team can't balance them all.

tl;dr is unique but isn't balanced and sometimes isn't fun because of that. clear priority on making money which is fair but results in a spend all the money meta game

This game was slightly life changing and the narrative was great. Buy it on sale and you won't regret it.

It's a mix of L4D2 and chivalry which makes it a great deal of fun but it is a bit short. Whole game on easy-normal is about 10 hours. I just hope theres custom map support one day.
