Sons of the Forest is a really unique game. I love the idea of a survival-based horror game where you end up on an island and strive to survive against the elements and cannibals who inhabit the island, and being able to build your own fortresses and bases out of your surroundings. It especially makes for a lot of entertaining and memorable moments with your friends. This game can be a little bit on the demanding side, so make sure you have the right specs to run it. SotF can also be a little challenging, especially for newcomers, but before long you'll eventually figure out where everything is and it won't be so bad anymore, and there is also a peaceful option (w/o enemies) if you want that. The only real gripe I have with SotF is with the ingame bugs, since they can be quite abundant, with clipping out of the map and weird object collision/disappearances being examples. However, I wouldn't let that stop you from having a good time, and in the end the game itself is enjoyable.

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades is definitely one of my favorite and most played VR games to date. I always seem to find myself back at this game whenever I feel like playing VR again. H3 itself has lots to offer, including a good amount of game modes when you load into the game, and a plethora of guns, explosives, and other miscellaneous items to tinker with. When it comes to tech requirements, I don't believe it needs a crazy new computer, but I would definitely make sure your PC can handle the game. Updates are decently frequent, especially with seasonal events and all. I also do love how realistic the reloading is and how much effort went into making the models and AI, especially since some VR games just have you touch the mag with the gun and its magically reloaded. Besides, who wouldn't want to shoot imaginary hot dog people with guns?

Garry's Mod is one of those games that will never truly die, as, among many things, it offers a dedicated community and an active workshop. Videos based around GMod still remain popular even after all these years. In my opinion, it is absolutely worth the price for what you get, and GMod's replayability is one of the things that makes GMod so great. Sure, it is a bit of an older game, so the graphics won't be brand new (released in 2006), but it also hardly requires any tech and there is so much to see and do. I would recommend to try and play GMod with your friends sometime, as the experience makes for many funny and entertaining moments. It's also fun to just experiment around on your own, with hundreds of different mods and maps to fiddle with.

Hearts of Iron IV is one of the best, if not the best, strategy war games I have played. There are multiple countries to play as, numerous scenarios to scope out, and hundreds of amazing mods that help make the game feel more updated and entertaining. It seems to me that even though I may play the same eras over and over again, it still never truly feels boring, as every time there is something new I want to do. You can even annex Germany as New Zealand if you want too! Beginners to the game may feel a bit swamped with learning how to play the game at first, but once you get going and work out the controls and mechanics, it feels more rewarding. Usually, depending on what mods you install, your computer shouldn't have a hard time running the game, and bugs tend to be more on the less frequent side. The music within HOI4 is also exemplary. As mentioned before, there are many mods out there for HOI4, and some I'd recommend are: Kaiserredux, Pax Britannica, The New Order, and Millennium Dawn.

Phasmophobia is a very unique and interesting game, and I'm glad we have it. Never while playing have I ever felt bored or uninterested, and the game does a very good job with gameplay and functions. This is hand downs the best ghost hunting game out there, and I definitely would recommend this game to those that are interested in ghost hunting and the paranormal. Just a warning, however, I would not recommend the game if you are easily spooked or do not do well with horror games!

Team Fortress 2 is an awesome game. At the time of this review I have 333+ hours on the game, and I strongly recommend it. Customization, community servers, multiplayer fps, active trading, it has it all! I have never had a moment on TF2 where I felt I was done with the game altogether or super bored. Although hacking, no tutorials, and lack of updates can sometimes be issues, I like to look past it and continue playing this game. The people you can meet on TF2 are also cool, and can result in fun moments. 13 years later, TF2 is still among one of the best Shooters. Give it a try! :)
