Basically Minecraft but 4D

I died more times in this DLC on hurt me plenty then I did in the base game on nightmare, although that's likely due to how rusty I was at the game, having not played it since April. Regardless, this DLC does not pull any punches and I honestly love that. This is for people seeking a real challenge and who are willing to attempt an area fight over and over to finally beat it.

Doom Eternal is definitely one of the best, if not the best, fps I have ever played. The gun play is incredibly fluid, and the extra mechanics really add to the experience. I've seen people complain about the low ammo, but the thing is, the chainsaw refills it and the chainsaw refills itself. That means you effectively have infinite ammo if you play smart. That is something I really like about this game, its mechanics add a layer of strategy: what weapons will work best on enemies, what abilities will get you the resource you desperately need in that moment, etc. As someone who has finished the campaign, I can say that DOOM Eternal starts and finishes strong, always keeping that momentum going. Whether it be combat or exploration, there is always something to do during the campaign. There were a few times where I was dying repeatedly and getting frustrated, but then I would have an epiphany and realize that if I did a certain thing, the fight became much easier. That is the core of DOOM's combat. I strongly recommend this game to anyone who has a pretty good PC and enjoys fast-paced fps games.

I tried to join a multiplayer game, and all I got was Garfield staring into my soul, telling me, "Impossible to join the game". After this my entire reality was frozen, and I was put into a state of infinite suffering with no escape other than to take my own life. A warning to new players: Garfield is both a blessing and a curse, a benevolent god and a cruel one.
