I've played and play a lot of horror games, this is by far the fun I have had playing any video game in a long time. I have never really played the originals but the characters and writing have still stood out to me. The combat is the most fun and fast feeling in any single player game I have played. the price point seems high but I got a little over 18 hours even just looking at the environments. I think this is a great game.

Really fun game if you are patient enough for it, its a little bit of a steep learning curve but if you get good enough you'll be hooked for a while... Edit: this game has ruined my life.
