Final Edit since I have 100% the game now, I feel the game deserves the best review I can give...

Pros:
- Best gameplay I have experienced ever, period

- GOD TIER soundtrack as I am sure most of you know by now, but literally every single song on this game is an absolute banger from the character themes to menu music

- TONS of content and replayability, from higher difficulties to unlockables to pure progress of skill, I have been playing for years and I still come back for its unbeatable

- DLC that isn't over priced and provides alot of fun from cosmetics to varient weapons... and for an incredible steal, you can pick up Vergil, which I might say is near mandatory for the best possible experience

- Pretty great graphics for its' age with fantastic performance as well

- Moddable with a fantastic modding community for custom outfits, weapons, music, stages, and more STYLE (There is even a multiplayer mod to bring your friends into the mix for co-op combos!!)

Cons:
- If you own modern gen consoles, just get Special Edition for raytracing/DLC/LDK/etc, none of those features are in this version of the game, thank god we got Vergil as a DLC at the minimum

- The game is a bit hard on new players, I should know as it was my first DMC game, I quit after an hour, years later I played through DMC 1-4 and finally revisited DMC 5 and it felt natural (down below you'll see I recommend to play through the previous games as well both to get a feel for the story and gameplay as well as the fact those games are absolutely amazing in their own right)

- YOU NEED A CONTROLLER/GAMEPAD, PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PLAY ON KEYBOARD AND MOUSE I BEG OF YOU

Overall a great purchase even at full price, but I recommend if you have not already, go buy the DMC HD collection first and play through the first 3 games (in the order of 3-1-2) and then get DMC4 SE as well. Trust me, you won't regret playing those classics...

except DMC2 that game sucks and no one will be mad if you skip it

If you have already played all the previous games than you will LOVE THIS GAME, it is a love letter to fans of the series and perhaps the greatest game ever made, (no I am not exaggerating, it is absolutely a contender, give it a shot and see for yourself)

Just beat it, I didn't do anything special just beat the campaign on normal. It was a blast, highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun as hell shooter...

Yet another game I had on xbox and I am now purchasing on PC. This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece and it's a shame no sequel was made, Konami needs to figure out that we don't zombies or remakes, we want senators and cyborg ninjas! It's incredibly easy to play but hard to master, generic saying I know but check out youtubers that will flex off their god tier combos and S ranks with ease and compare that to my inconsistant ranging of S to D, lets talk about what everyone wants to hear though, and I mean that literally, the SOUNDTRACK IS THE BEST I HAVE HEARD IN ANY GAME EVER, not a single song was one I did not like, even the worst song is miles ahead of the best songs of other games! While your listening to these masterpieces that make beethoven shed a tear you will be going through some of the coolest fights in gaming history including the greatest boss of gaming history (fite me if you disagree) The game makes you feel like an absolute badass as you cut leagues of enemies into ribbons while showing off your sombrero outfit and backfliping for days, If thats not enough than guess what? this version also comes with the DLC (even though I dont know how to access it on this version maybe I have to beat the game) where you play ass chainsaw dog and a cooler and better raiden who is also a chad, both of which are good (but ♥♥♥♥ that dogs intro mission) The point is JUST BUY IT, I swear to god you WILL NOT regret buying this game! Also, quick tip, press light and move toward your opponent at the same time to counter, it is crucial to learn yet somehow on my first playthrough on xbox I never blocked or parried once, I am not sure how the hell I even beat it like that...

Owned it for years but its finally getting some more recognition, buy it

Another game that I had on Xbox and bought again on PC, I was around since Beta and bought it the instant it came out, the game has only gotten worse... but it has rebounded and gotten a bit better (not as good as those good old beta days) but it's not bad. The game is filled with people who only spam and don't know legitimate combat but because they spam those half your health unblockables you can easily screw yourself over by not being carefull, my biggest tip is to LEARN HOW TO PUNISH STUPID SPAMMERS! Dodge spam? guard break! heavy spam? learn parries! light spam? dodge or learn LIGHT parries! unblockable spam (grabs, bashes, etc.)? LEARN THE OPTIMAL DODGE PUNISH!

Who needs bonds when you can shoot lasers for free?!?

I played this on Xbox one for over a year, let me tell you THIS is a much better experience than on Xbox, the load times are insanely good and the frame drops are not nearly as common, the only major difference I could describe is that because of the frame rate difference the inputs felt weird at first, I could now instant air dash better now but pressing light one too many times became common. I am getting more used to it and I like the new experience. For those wanting to try it out for the first time I think that me buying it again says enough, for those looking to transition, It's as perfect as cell...
