Early Access Review
What a great game and an example of why AAA devs should take note that gameplay should come first and foremost. If Battlefield, Squad and Roblox had a baby, this would be it. Roblox strictly because of the simple graphics, but don't let that dissuade you. Very polished early access game with terrific gameplay, excellent gunplay and just very fun overall if you are a fan of Battlefield and/or Squad and can look past the simple graphics, which was easy for me personally. I recommend!

In my humble opinion, Terraria is one of the best indie games of this generation. I've sunk many, many hours into this game and have had loads of fun with the free content the devlelopers have so generously given us over the 9 years since the original (v 1.0) release. The most recent and final major update titled "Journey's End" is massive, adding sooooo much more content to an already content rich game. I wish more developers were so generous!

If you don't know what Terraria is, the genre would be something like: "2d 'voxel' minecraft-esque sandbox metroidvania with boss fights and lots of hack and slash and loot with multiplayer co-op and optional pvp". That doesn't do it justice, but if that sounds like fun, you should definitely jump in and give it a go.

If you liked games like Chivalry or Mount & Blade, you will most likely like Mordhau. The combat in this game is excellent and several steps ahead Chivalry, in my opinion. The community is fun and, while the game has gotten some bad press recently (PC Gamer article regarding a minority of players in the community acting badly), the community as a whole is quite good, in my opinion. If you're looking for excellent melee combat and a very high skill ceiling, look no further (for the time being).

First things first - despite many of the negative reviews, this is a terrific game. Story is not the greatest, but COMBAT! And the "BOSS" (monster) "FIGHTS" (hunting)! Boss encounters remind me of Dark Souls at times, but they are not as punishing and last quite a bit longer.

Now, there were some server/connectivity issues with the game initially, which is where quite a few of the negative reviews originated from, but those have been fixed, to my knowledge. Overall, I have really enjoyed this game and I give it a 9/10.

This is not your run-of-the-mill first or third person shooter, nor is it like just about any other RPG you've ever played. It is, in my opinion, an excellent marriage of a tactical, cover based third person shooter with RPG-like character progression, attributes, skills, talents and loot system.

The Division is entertaining to play solo, but really shines when played with a friend or a group of friends. Taking on challenging missions and dark zone pvp with a group of friends requires skill and a certain level of strategy to come out victorious. So far, for me, taking on a very difficult "challenge-mode" PVE mission or fighting through some of the more challenging dark zone areas with four friends is about as good as it gets.

If you have a PC that has close to the recommended system requirements and you like games similar to this and are wondering if you should buy it, I would say do it.
