Wonderful game

Brilliant game. There are not only raids/dungeons that makes it fun to play. A lot of mini-games, islands to discover, stronghold to upgrade etc.
AND ITS FREE TO PLAY!
Also there been a rumors of p2w, that i want to mention. Yes you can buy every 6 hours upgrade mats at shop. But if u will go to extend to buy them <I did multiple times>, YOU GONNA REGRET IT! The amount of mats is literally nonexistent, you get thousand times more from islands quests, and you will feel like idiot for spending crystals on it. <YES i feel like an idiot. x_x>

The game is 100% worth trying out even more that its free to play. Just dont expect Diablo/ PoE vibe from it, there only 1 end game mechanic looking somehow similar to those games, Chaos dungeons, but aside of that, its nothing like ARPG games.

Not my typical type of the game, but its pretty fun and relaxing :-)

Pretty fun game

A lot of people will give it negative review just because of the queue time.
But that's not my reason to give negative review.
My reason is the auto-ban system and Amazon Game Studio's dev's lying to us about it.

According to AGS all bans are checked and managed by people, and there is no automated ban system in a game.
But people already checked this claim, by mass reporting people of opposite faction just before siege, just so they can get a free win. About 15 reports placed in 30minutes at person causing system to ban reported person without checking anything.

About the game. It's rather mediocre mmorpg right now, with high chances to be a good game if AGS keep improving it. For now there is way too few models, too few different sounds for monsters.
Leveling is slow which would be great, if there were fun ways of exping.
Right now it's just doing quests like:
- Kill X of monster types
- Bring X of crafted/gathered items
- Go gather chests in X location
Grinding monsters in groups.
Doing same dungeons over and over again IF you have access stones.
Gathering/Crafting <Very poor EXP tbh>
Doing main story quests which will take you up to lvl 22-23 and then you will have to grind levels to 30. And 7-8 levels in New World is really quite a lot.

Even with this terrible leveling experience i would give the game positive review, if AGS wouldn't lie about automated ban system which is clearly not working as intended.

It's 2nd week of the game. Another(2nd) maintenance for SMALL patch lasting over 6hours, and putting EU on lowest priority list of turning servers on while it's prime time here, when it's 9am in US. It's becoming a bad joke.

Edit2.
Over month later. Game is plagued by exploits and bugs that are literally game breaking, including gold/item dupe, perks not working or doing something different than they say. For each bug/exploit fixed, AGS causing at least 2 exploits to be released with patch. Avoid until they fix this dumpster fire.

Good game dont listen to whinny trolls

Dev's have clearly no clue what actually they are doing.
Please, avoid this game. At least until they gonna fix their stuff.
Everysingle patch is fixing one thing. It's slowing down progress, so you it's harder to notice that this game actually has no content at end game.
Uber bosses are same kind of boss on 40-120-180 level.

First of all, please don't belive on what you have seen on stream. Streamers <90% of them> are playing on Private server, setup mostlikely by dev's on Nitrado, so its lag free. Also, its not taken down for every small patchs, which actually breaks the game quite often. "So we gonna be playing private server if its SO BAD". Good luck with that my friends! Private servers which are not blocked with passwords, are full. "So i will open my own private server!". If you are willing to pay about 800+$ per month to open atleast half of the map, please send me password so i could play with you:-). Until then... Yeah. Every single square of map is an server, so you are not paying for one server. You paying for multiple of them. In my personal opinion, this game actually at this moment looks like cash-grab for Nitrado.
Well if you want some details, there is reason why even if i tried to love this game, i cant. There is my pointed review then :-). If you thinking about buying the game, please first read it.
1. Join to 40,000+ player Pirate MMO! STOP HERE.
So, first of all, 40,000+ is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. First of all, every area is able to carry 150 players at it max, so you will be able to see only 150players at once. You have about 225 squares <areas> on map, which makes it to 33,750 player at maximum on ITSELF called "server".
2. Explore the islands!
Ye about that. Maybe that was true at first hour of the game, because there was only 16 squares set up as spawn points for new players. Right now over half of the map is set up as "Spawn point" for new players, fulling them up to 150 so u cant even go there.
ALSO! Spawn points are so badly spread out, that the furthest NOT SPAWNPOINT square is about 3 squares from spawn square. Makes it really easly reached by players which played for few hours.
2.1 Freeports
When game was released first time, spawn points were set up in freeport. Free ports were a citys with food in them also with NPC which was selling a Raft. Well, jokes on you right now, because Freeports spawns are full of players, so game will spawn you on other "spawn points" which are set up on wild islands which suppose to be area to explore. YAY.
3. Server Patchs
That part is about the Dev's team mostly. I belive this people clearly have no idea what they doing actually. It's 2 days after release, game is ALREADY on version 5.9 <Ye, clearly have idea how to name versions mates>. The patch's so far lowered ping on spawn points to 160 <YAY>, destroyed whole reason to explore world because right now almost everything is a Spawn point for newbies.
Clueless Dev's are taking down servers even for small updates like changing noise of dying people. And they calling it an "update".
4. Server mess.
There is actually VERY FEW streamers playing on OFFICIAL SERVER. Some of them manage to even play on NA PVP server, move between squares on map, and they suddenly ended up on PvE EU server. Like what the hell?!
I will not point it out, but the game is actually an ARK DLC copy-paste. With messing up everything so its lags like hell.
For now, game looks like Nitrado+Wildcard cashgrab<Dont even know why Wildcard put some employess on other company, just to make it look like they are not Wildcard members lol. Just to put game under different Development? Quite a scam it is :-) )
The idea of game is great and i really tried to love it... But i can't.
Here you go fellows. It's ur time to decide if u would like to suffer in this game like Summit/Admiral Bahroo/SxyHexy(those are streamers which show the real gameplay on official servers> did, or you will pass for now.
Review Update.
24/12/18 - Since 7 hour's im unable to connect to server for some wierd reasons. Seems like there was some bugged area that i wanted set as home spawn. Can't play the game. :-) BTW. From what i heard update suppose to hit servers 3 hours ago, then it was delayed for 1 hour, then suppose to hit servers 30 min ago. The only change since then is, they change the name of upcoming update from 6.0 to 5.95. That's a devs in nutshell for you.

Due poor connection to the server, Chinese players managed to duplicate all their resources. To the point, where right now in game you have tons of Chinese galleons roaming through seas and destroying everything they see.

Ranked game matching is made clearly by guy who had no idea what he is actually doing. Matching u in bronze against people with 500 hours which play like gods, and only griefing ur game making it last forever. Also Ping on servers is so random it hurts. once i have 30 ping another time i have 100... or it jumps 10 times per match.
PS.
Did u thinked that LoL community is toxic? u never played this game then...
