This is a great game if you love classic games like age of empires. Not too frantic, and kind of relaxing to plan out your town and watch your people build it.

This game has made great improvements since release. If you have avoided it based on the initial reviews, please give it another look. It's got the friendliest playerbase I've ever met, a great soundtrack, and the landscapes remind me of the Appalachian foothills where I grew up. There are always events going on and new updates being developed.

At first it didn't look like much, but as I played I discovered it has depth and replayability. It quickly sucked me in and away from all other entertainments I've been enjoying. I am a fan of roleplaying games (tabletop and video game) and sandbox type builders, this is the best of both worlds.

The more time goes on, the more I keep returning to this great game. I am planning to purchase the expansions soon and looking forward to many new stories told on this wild frontier planet.
