Very much akin to Hotline Miami having a baby with Splinter Cell. Could use some more options (knocking out goons through windows, for example), but otherwise a solid hit so far!

Its dumb fun watching plastic duckies float around and sometimes do silly things. The soundtrack isn't half-bad either; weird, but in a good way.

I want to say straight up that the mechanics of the game are fine. It's perfectly playable, and the game is very fun in this manner.

My issues crop up namely in two areas:
1) The population is VERY low for an MMO, and most players are either locked into their guild and can't/won't chat or help, OR just don't talk to you at all if you don't already know them.
2) EyeDentity changed the EXP to force players to play through the story quests in order to level, which GREATLY slows down progress and discourages party play early on (not that a party is necessary at all, but it made the grind much more bearable).

The first issue is hard to fix, but it does create an issue for newer/returning players where there's no reason to continue unless you intend on joining a guild, since everyone sticks to their cliques like glue.

The second problem, however, was egregious in the extreme, and was what killed my interest. A year or two ago I could easily grind a character to max level in a day if I was persistent and had at least a few other characters at max (for the bonus EXP); now its closer to a week plus of persistent 6 to 8 hour sessions each day. Yes, still fairly easy, but damn does it slow things to a crawl. Even worse is that this game suffers from the problem of EXP not being balanced; it seems like I get a level per quest completed, so that by the time I'm reaching the level 30 quests I'm well into the 60's.

Compound that with the speed issue (there is only one warp point per town map AFAIK, if there is one at all, so you cannot simply warp to characters to quickly finish quest markers), and the fact that the quests are boring AF (boiler-plate standard "go here, kill/get these things, come back"), AND the fact that the game lets you skip them for no reward (what is the point in doing that, btw?! you lose out on decent rewards just to advance a story that is already paper-thin to begin with)... and its just baffling.

I wish EyeDentity the best, but this is probably my last time picking up this game. Dragon Nest was fun once, but now it's a player-made walled-garden game where the creators, instead of addressing actually important issues, have only made it arbitrarily harder to reach max level.

It probably has a lot to do with me being the weirdo who plays the majority of my time in MMOs solo, but it seems like the game wants to bore players, and even new Nests and returning player packages aren't enough of a motivator anymore.

Fun to play around with, and possibly the best ad created up to now, but not terribly well optimized. Even with a 1660 Super GPU and Threadripper 2950x CPU w/ 32GB of RAM, the game portions chug at sub-30 FPS.

The pinnacle of story-driven FPS games.
Looks a bit terrible nowadays (and frames occasionally tanks), and the voice acting can be a bit shaky in places, but it IS nearly 16 years old.
Absolutely worth the price, especially nowadays.

What else can be said about Dark Souls that hasn't already been said, memed, and reiterated countless times? Its hard as balls, spares no punches, but never treats you unfairly (except maybe Blighttown's lag, but that's another thing entirely). So take it slow, don't waste your humanity, hoard your estus flasks, and remember to praise the sun.

A faithful recreation of the classic S/NES Castlevania games, with modern conveniences and conventions along with its own storyline (although calling it a prequel is a bit of a stretch). If you're a fan of the old games or just interested in why people still rag on and on about "what Castlevania used to be", this is worth every penny -- even more if gotten on sale.

I love this game.
I love it so much that it was my 2017 game of the year.
Its a fun, silly, Wild-Woolly-West themed RPG with a great soundtrack, a couple of mind-bending puzzles, and lots of demon cow murder. If that doesn't get you pumped to play, I don't know whether you're human or not...

MASSIVE BLOOD/GORE/SQUICK WARNING! THERE'S LOTS OF IT!

Wish the demo lasted longer (at least by legitimate means), but DAMN is it good.
Plays sorta like a third-person RE7, so no bad camera angles or silly tank controls to get in the way of gameplay, yet it still keeps you on your toes all the time with a tense atmosphere that absolutely oozes with hand-crafted horror. Even where they've changed things, it's for the better -- I won't spoil things but its worth the download, especially being free and all!

Certainly hope the quality holds out for the full game, because this actually has me stepping up to pre-order x-x
