Game of the Year

I grew up playing Skate 3 as a kid, so I was hyped to finally try Skate. The core feeling from Skate 3 of skating is still there and gave me that nostalgic hit but the overall presentation feels very different. The graphics, the sound, even the general vibe come across more cartoon ish than the grounded style I loved in Skate 3.

Content wise, it’s still lacking. After a few sessions, there just isn’t enough to do, and the amount of glitches can get frustrating. Sometimes they’re funny, but from time to time they break the immersion and flow.

I do enjoy it, but it feels like it needs more polish, more depth, and a clearer identity to really live up to the Skate name.
